I said my goodbyes to Hailey, and gently kissed the top of her head before jumping out of the window, and walking away. I couldent believe how mean and cruel Haileys auntie was to her. It wasn't Haileys fault that she had an illness, and all that bitch did was put her down. It took all my strength not to barge in there and grab Hailey, and take her home with me. I knew I was going to do everything I could to save her from that horrible place. I would save up every little bit of money I could to afford the medication she needed. I would walk to the ends of the earth for Hailey. I walked around the front of the house and began to hear voices. Familair voices. Shit. I jumped behind a convient shed that was there, and listened.

"I have never known a child so ungrateful in all my life. I am practically saving her life." I heard her auntie say, and I clenched my fists. "Well she is suck in there all day everyday." I heard Susan say and I smiled. I knew that she cared about Hailey to, and would help me help her. "To keep her safe. She would be heckled in this modern age."
"Well whatever you think is best. Anyway, you said to me that you needed to tell me something?"
"Ahh yes. The medcation price has rised making it way to expensive for us to afford."
"What are you saying?" Susan said, a worried tone in her voice. "I'm saying that I'm stopping her medication." She said, and I felt like someone punched me in the stomach hard. Without that medication, she had no chance. She would die in less than a week, and I couldent save up enough money to pay for it for a while yet. By the time I had the money it would be too late. I felt like running at her, and giving her a piece of my mind, but I but my tounge, and continued to listen.

"What?! But that will kill her. She won't even last a week without it."
"Well thats not my problem.At least she'll be free then, and out of my hair at long last."
"You can't do that it's like murder."
"No it's not. Don't you dare talk back to me. It's the only thing I can do, and I don't want her here anymore and I'm sure that she'll be greatful."
"You monster. She's better than that. She's coped 19 years with her illness andhaving no friends, not being alound out and not having her mother. You have done enough damage as it is but this is pushing it to far."
"I don't care wha you think. Bite your tounge or I'll have you fired and how will you pay off your bills?"
I hated her so much. I heard a door open, then a car drive off. I peeked around the shed, and saw Susan standing there, shocked.

I ran to her, and grabbed her arm. "That cannot happen! I wont let it!" I said, begining to panic. "Don't panic I'm not going to let it happen either. Here," She said, passing me a piece of paper. "Text me later and I'll meet you for coffee. We'll make a plan on what to do then." She said, and I nodded as she smiled, and walked back into the building. I wasn't going to let it happen. She was going to live, if it took all my effort and even if it nearly killed me. She couldent leave me.....I loved her.....
