CHAPTER 2 - Come With Us?

"Sooo did we interrupt something?" said Ashley, wiggling his eyebrows at the pair on the couch who were still holding hands.

"Fuck off Purdy" Jinxx growled, not liking the way Ashley was eyeing Gabby.

She glared coldly at Ashley who shivered and she shuffled closer to Jinxx who put his arm around her, CC wolf-whistled at them, Andy just raised an eyebrow.

"And yes Purdy you did interrupt something that I was rather enjoying" Gabby growled angrily, her eyes darkening to an almost black colour. Jinxx kissed her cheek, calming her down quickly, her eyes changing back to chocolate brown. "By the way, your bunk reeks, I've smelled garbage cans full of scraps and carcasses nicer than that from working in restaurants" she added sourly before kissing Jinxx again briefly.

The guys all laughed at Ashley's expression of 'whaaaaaaa?!' except for Jinxx who was busy staring at Gabby while she ran her fingers through her hair, getting some of the hairspray out.

"So Gabs why don't you tell us about yourself? Jinxx seems to be pretty fond of you" said Andy, as they all sat around on the floor. "What do you guys want to know?" asked Gabby, turning her phone on silent.

"Full name & age?" "Are you a virgin?" "Do you like monster?" "Do you play any instruments?" The four of them asked, Ashley getting whacked up the head three times.

Gabby scowled at Ashley then smiled at the other guys.

"Andy, my full name is Gabrielle Annabeth Naberrie but I prefer Gabby. And I'm impressed that you've figured out one of my nicknames... Let's see I'm 19, nearly 20... There is no way in hell I'm answering your question Purdy so you can bloody well forget it! CC I've never really had monster very often, I usually just go with coke and Jake I play guitar, and I also sing as well" Gabby replied a little nervously, cuddling into Jinxx, earning an 'Aww' from them all including Ashley who knew when not to go for one of the guys girls.

"It's true she does, we were playing some songs earlier and she sang along to Coffin while playing, she's pretty good at it. But she didn't tell me how long she's been able to play for" said Jinxx looking down at her.

Gabby giggled, her fangs showing a bit – making the guys all look at each other curiously, is she a vampire? They thought, except for Jinxx, he was again too busy gazing at her, particularly her eyes. "You never asked so I never told. Ha-ha nah I've been playing for about 12 years or so" she said, again a little nervously. "Wow that's cool" said Ashley.

Andy looked thoughtful for a moment. "Wait a minute, Coffin has a bit of Screamo in it – did she do that Jinxx or just singing?" he asked. Jinxx smirked, Gabby eyed him warily, "She nailed it man" he said as she turned her hair colour again. "Seriously? You don't see many girls who can do that" said CC, hunting around for a monster that he hadn't drained yet.

"Mm-hm seriously. She even aced the solo in it, she's also pretty good at Legacy and New Religion too" "They're some of my fave songs on that album" she chimed in.

The guys all grinned at her then queried them as to what else they were up to.

"First before all that have you guys got any makeup wipes anywhere? As much as I love putting on warpaint especially Jinxx's I do need to get it off, it gets itchy after a while" Gabby interrupted them, mumbling the part about Jinxx but he still heard and squeezed her slightly in an affectionate way as Andy led her to the bathroom where they kept their makeup wipes.

"Thanks Andy!" They heard her call out before she started wiping the paint off her arms before shutting the door.

A little while later she came back out, paint-free except for some eyeliner still around her eyes and multiple tattoos on her arms that they hadn't noticed before, including a batman one, and she was readjusting her shirt.

She sat back down with Jinxx on the couch, Jake had also moved to the end so he became her footrest after she took off her combat boots, her feet were killing her from standing all night.

"So where were we?" she asked, glaring at Ashley who was attempting to tickle her light blue rainbow dash sock-clad feet, she made to move her leg to kick him then he backed off.

"We want to know what you and Jinxx got up to" said Andy, sounding like a curious 5-year-old.

"You wanna start?" asked Jinxx, Gabby nodded.

"Ok so for me all this started after the opening band. Legacy had started playing and I was in front of Jinxx the whole show, we looked at eachother a few times and when Andy sang 'take your hand in mine' during Rebel Love Song, Jinxx smirked at me, crouched down and reached out towards me then our hands touched and I'd never forget the feeling of his hand on mine... then the spark whenever he looked at me..." she said, smiling softly as she slipped into memory lane in Jinxx's arms...

She was brought sharply back down to earth when Ashley thought it would be a smart idea to tickle her foot. He was soon flat on his back, whining and holding his head where she'd kicked him, a little too fast to be considered human, but not fast or strong enough to be ratted out as something else.

"Don't EVER attempt that again Purdy. If any of you tickle my feet I am not responsible for what happens to whatever part of you that's in range of my foot, you’ll only be bringing damage upon yourself if you're unfortunate enough to be within range of my feet. Got it?" She said, complete with serious tone and voice.
The guys all nodded a little scared as Ashley grabbed some ice for his head. "Damn girl you kick well" he said, wincing slightly. "I used to do karate when I was a kid, guess it stuck" she said, shrugging but avoiding eye contact with them again.

"Anyway after that you guys kept playing, Jinxxy looked at me a few more times and then your set finished with Fallen Angels – bloody awesome song by the way. You guys went offstage and most of the crowd swarmed the merch tables like flies to abandoned food. I stayed where I was at the front, just memorising it all seeing as you guys rarely make an appearance here so I thought I'd savour it while I could.

Then someone taps me on the shoulder while I'm standing there with my eyes shut with also my hands on the edge of the stage, I turn around and see Jinxx standing behind me. He asked if I knew the show ended an hour ago I think he said, I didn't realise that much time had passed already. I was a bit star struck so I was like 'I-um-uh yeah I was just' blah blah blah.

He smiled and looked me over then we agreed that there was something about a show that makes you feel alive then we introduced ourselves and he remembered I'd been standing in front of him the entire show. Then I said it was a great show and started to leave, putting on my jacket which I think I left at the front of the bus with my backpack, but Jinxx stopped me and said he was hungry and asked if I knew if any places to eat nearby, so I mentioned there was a McDonalds in walking distance and I asked if he wanted to go over there with me.

He nodded and vanished backstage and came back a little while later, then we set off, I was a little surprised that he wanted to go to McDonalds with me rather than partying it up which I could hear by the way... Then we stopped at the traffic lights and he held my hand then we went in and ordered-"

"Who paid?" CC broke in, grinning insanely – he must have found a monster. "I did and carried the food back, she carried the drinks and we held hands again," Jinxx continued, smiling down at Gabby (she smiled back), he seemed to really like her.

Maybe he found his zing, Sammi wasn’t the girl for him plus she cheated – when you find your mate or zing or whatever you wanna call it you’re together for life. Maybe Gabby is his zing from the way they’re interacting… I mean Andy & Juliet are like that, sometimes CC & Jake are like that too Ashley thought.

"Then what?" Jake, Ashley and Andy asked in unison, them and CC sitting in front of Gabby & Jinxx as though it was story time at Kindy, which for them it probably was.

"We came back here to bus, I said you guys were probably showering and sucking up the wifi so we'd probably be alone for a bit longer, then we went inside and sat down, well she did after putting the drinks & her bag down and taking off her jacket.

Then we ate and I asked if she played any instruments, she said guitar and giggled which I think was adorable. Then I lead her to in here, I think she could instantly pick out who had what bunk as she laughed a little bit and we played for a bit and talked about a whole bunch of stuff.

Then I held her hand again, we moved closer and I kissed her. She kissed me back immediately and then my hand moved from my lap to her hair. We kissed for a little while then she lay down and I was leaning over her, we broke apart cos we needed to breathe and she spotted you guys watching from the doorway and yeah" Jinxx said, finishing his half of the story.

"Aww!!!" cooed the others as Gabby yet again turned her hair colour, Jinxx just flipped them off and kissed her again, breaking away before things got too carried away, causing her to grumble quietly.

"Hey Gab?" Jake asked. "Yeah?" "Could you play us something pleeeeeaaase?" he asked.

Gabby paled slightly and froze, she wasn't very keen on playing in front of the rest of the band, she was a bit reluctant with Jinxx too.

"Guys she's kind of shy about playing in front of people, same with singing just so you know" said Jinxx, noticing she'd frozen, unnaturally still... almost as though she was... no she couldn’t be... could she? She didn’t say that my skin was freezing, she looked surprised about something... hmm I might talk to her about it later… he added mentally.

"Ok then, any specific requests? Though I'd rather not play by myself" said Gabby, taking the guitar Jinxx passed her as Jake picked up another one and tossed her a pick.

"Well what are your favourite bands?" Jake asked, "It's a three-way tie and no I'm not saying who. I'll do 3 songs – one from each band and you four will need to guess who the song's by except for Jake" she said, shooing Jinxx onto the floor and beckoning Jake over to tell him what songs she was gonna do as she fished her iPhone from her pocket, searching for the first song.

"What songs are we playing?" he whispered. Gabby thought for a moment and whispered "Orion by Metallica, Girls Girls Girls by Mötley Crüe and lastly Coffin by you guys" she whispered, finding the guitar backing tracks for the songs on her iPhone, putting them into a playlist and starting the one for 'Orion'.

They laughed at the confused looks that Andy, CC and Ashley had, Jinxx grinned – he liked Metallica a fair bit and recognised the song, so he knew why Gabby & Jake didn’t start playing immediately.

"Shouldn't you be playing?" said Ashley, who was confused. Gabby and Jake laughed, "Actually, you would be Ash, I'm actually quite surprised you didn't recognise this, it's a distorted bass intro" said Gabby as she and Jake started playing the guitar parts.

"Oh... What is this song?" Ashley asked. "Not telling you just yet, what about you two Andy & CC? You recognise this? It's kinda obvious Jinxx does, from the way he’s grinning like the Joker, adorable goofball" said Gabby, saying the last bit quietly. They all just shook their heads, having heard her entire sentence.

Jinxx sighed and said "It's Orion by Metallica!" Gabby grinned and nodded as she started playing the first of the guitar solos. "Released in 1986 on the Master Of Puppets album, this song has no lyrics at all" she said as CC, Andy & Ashley all said "Oh" when they caught on.

Gabby & Jake finished the song then they started playing 'Girls Girls Girls'. "I think I know what this one is, umm....... Girls Girls Girls by Mötley Crüe?" said Ashley.

Gabby stopped playing to say "Yup that was a Mötley Crüe song... God if my life had a soundtrack to it, this song would probably be on it" and she hi-fived Ash, she noticing his skin was boiling hot and he noting hers was freezing cold, they both winced as their hands made contact. "Ok so Metallica and Mötley Crüe are two of your three favourite bands, who's the third one?" said Andy as Ashley tried to warm his hand back up while Gabby attempted to cool hers down.

Gabby & Jake snickered, “All of you should recognise this... if not than I am extremely disappointed in you” she said, winking at Jake, emphasising the word ‘extremely’. She and Jake started the intro riffs and the guys all burst out into laughter when they realised that Jake and Gabby were playing Coffin.

“So we’re the other band in your top 3!” CC exclaimed when they finished playing.

Gabby giggled & nodded, sitting between Andy & Ashley, putting her arms around their shoulders in a sisterly way – Jinxx was like a brother to them, and from the way he and Gabby were acting, she was his zing so that made her their sister.

“That’s what I meant when I said I would have been disappointed if you didn’t recognise the song” she said, fist-bumping Ashley and keeping her arm around Andy who put his around her shoulder.

“Ahh fuck!” Jake exclaimed as they all heard a small snapping noise. “What's wrong?” asked Jinxx. “My G-string broke again...” Jake grumbled. Gabby snickered quietly then whispered to Ashley, “He said G-string” before they both broke out laughing.

“Oh my god don’t tell me she’s perverted!” said Andy, sending a panicked glance at Jinxx who just shrugged. “Sorry, not sorry” she managed to get out between laughs as Jinxx scooped her back onto his lap and put his arms around her, she automatically snuggled into him and sighed in content.

While they chattered on about various things, Gabby’s jaw started aching a bit as well as her throat. She was able to downplay it for a while but when her throat got really uncomfortable she gasped and clutched it, whimpering in pain.

“Hey Gabby are you alright?” said Andy, looking at her when she whimpered. Jinxx rubbed her back and arms, but that wasn’t calming her down. “No” she squeaked.

Then she looked up – her eye veins were bulging and were a dark maroon colour. Her eyes themselves had changed from brown to black. And her teeth were full-on fangs – Jinxx noticed they were fangs earlier but they were a fair bit smaller so he didn’t think anything of it.

“You’re not a human are you?” Ashley said softly – he was a vampire, same with Andy & Jinxx. “Obviously not. And I don’t think any of you are either. I can't hear a heartbeat from you; Andy or Jinxx and CC & Jake don’t smell of human. I’m a vampire and I’m fucking hungry, and not for food, Jinxxy took care of that earlier” she rasped out.

“You haven’t fed today have you?” asked Jinxx, looking at her.

She shook her head and typed something on her phone, and tossed it to Andy. “Ok, I’ll grab you a bag” he said, running (vamp speed) to a fridge and bringing back a bag of O-Negative blood, her favourite type which ironically was the same as his.

He tossed it to Gabby who drained it quickly and sighed in relief, her eyes going back to chocolate brown and her teeth shrinking.

“You two ok?” she asked CC & Jake who were looking a bit grossed out. “Yeah we get a bit squeamish around blood, but that sounds stupid considering we hunt animals and eat them out which looks grosser” Jake said, Gabby laughing.

“So we noticed you were a bit uneasy when we were asking you questions earlier, particularly about your age” “Ya, I kind of hide my true nature around humans and people I dont know all that well until I feel safe around them. The last thing I need is a stake in my heart” said Gabby, shuddering from the thought. She had seen desiccated vamps before and it was NOT a pretty sight.

“What’s your actual age?” “220, I say 19 or a number close to that cos that’s how old I look and I use it to get around among humans and keep them off my back except for my closest human friends” “When’s your birthday?” asked Andy, he had an inquisitive stare thing going on.

“26th December, I was born in 1790” the guys’ jaws all dropped, especially Andy’s.

“That’s Andy’s birth date” said CC, looking at us. “Holy shit!” Ashley exclaimed, “What?” Andy and Gabby said in unison. “I hope to hell I'm not imagining this but you two look alike, but with different eye colours and pink in Gabby’s hair”

“Seriously?” Andy & Gabby ran to the nearest mirror and we saw what Ashley meant, even though her eyes are brown and his blue. “Oh wow we do look scarily similar, just with different eye colours” said Gabby, going to sit on Jinxx’ lap again. Andy sat down and thought for a bit. “Gabby, who are your parents?”

“I don’t know, I never knew them. I was raised by a human family but they kicked me out as soon as they were able to, I’ve just been wandering from place to place since then, I settled here a few decades back, I just move around a lot so I don’t raise too much suspicion among the humans” she said, leaning back on Jinxx who was kissing down her neck, making her moan quietly.

Ashley snickered quietly but shut up at Gabby’s cold glare that literally chilled him to the bone.

How the hell does she do that? Jinxx is the only vamp I know who can do that to you Ash thought as he used his abilities to warm up again, attracting a curious glance from Gabby.

Andy then went to his bunk and grabbed a photo of him and his parents when he was a baby, except there was another baby in the photo. “Wait a minute...” said Gabby, spotting the photo Andy was holding. She ran to the front of the bus and grabbed her backpack & jacket and dug around and gasped when she found what she was looking for.

She looked at Andy, her eyes wide and fangs very visible as she held up her copy of the picture which was identical to his.

“A-Are you....?” Andy choked out, tearing up a bit. Gabby nodded, “I think so, and why else would we have the same birth date and identical copies of this picture?”

They grinned and hugged each other, brother and sister reunited. “Awww” CC & Jake cooed, making little heart shapes with their hands then hugging eachother. Ashley and Jinxx grinned. Eventually they sat down again and they all kept chatting.

“So what do you do for work?” asked Jake curiously. “I was a kitchen assistant at a restaurant but lost my job there cos there was jack shit to do” “Why not be a guitar tech for us then? We need a new one, our last one left” said Andy; he wanted to keep Gabby around.

She nodded eagerly, “Hell yeah! Wait, where’s your next show again? If you guys want me to tag along, I’ll need to get my stuff” she asked.

“Err Sydney I think, but not for a few days. We’ll go to your place 2moro, the dogs need to sleep by the looks of it” said Ashley, nodding towards Jake and CC who looked like they were about to fall asleep where they were sitting.

Gabby let out an ‘Aww’ then she took a few photos of them, Andy & Ashley went to get a blood bag to snack on. Then she stood up and lifted Jake up and settled him in his bunk, tucking him in and kissing his forehead then whispering “Goodnight Jakey”.

Then after he mumbled a goodnight back she did the same with CC, tucking him into his bunk after moving the empty cans, kissing his forehead and whispering goodnight to him. “Night Mama Gabsy” he said in a cute child-like voice.

“Night you two” Jinxx, Andy & Ashley said, the two werewolves mumbling goodnight back to them. “Looks like you’re a mother figure to them” said Andy, smiling softly while leaning against the wall, sucking blood from a bag.

Gabby nodded, “I’m the ‘Momma Jinxx’ figure in my group of friends, guess it carried over here... man I need to stretch my wings, I haven’t flown in a while” she said, stretching in various ways, causing Jinxx to turn bright red, cough and get a blood bag for himself.

Ashley snickered as he tossed his empty bag away and morphed into a bat, laughing as he flew around the room, especially in circles around the Biersack twins’ heads.

Then Andy & Gabby smirked evilly and as Ashley flew above them, they each grabbed one of his wings. “Hey! Lemme go!” he protested, struggling to get away. Then they folded his wings in, Ashley cursing them into infinity then they tucked him into a sleeping CC’s arm, Jinxx filming them.

Then CC tucked his arm in, thumb in his mouth as though he was a kid.

“Awww this is too cute!” said Gabby, shrugging into her jacket. When she turned around Andy & Ashley saw her jacket had ‘Mystic’ on the back along with the BVB pentagram.

“Nice jacket sis” said Andy, grinning at her when she turned back around. She laughed and said “It looks cute bat-sized” before transforming into her bat form, complete with her miniaturised Mystic jacket.

She flew over and landed on Jinxx’ shoulder, affectionately head butting him, he returned the gesture gently. “Hold on, what’s with you two?” said Andy looking between them as Jinxx petted her head, both of them smiling.

“He’s my zing Andy. You know that purple flash you get in your eyes that also happens to your mate?” Gabby said, looking at him, her little bat ears twitching. “Yeaaaah that happened with Juliet and I... wait you said he’s your zing, did that happen to you two?”

“Yeah man, during the show I looked at her and we zinged... best feeling ever aside from when we kissed earlier” said Jinxx, gently lifting her onto his finger and passing her to Andy before shifting to his bat form and the two flew around the room before Gabby decided to rescue Ash who was still cursing and struggling to break free with no luck.

She flew over and brushed CC’s nose with her wing making him sneeze before grabbing Ashley’s shoulders with her bat-feet, pulling him out.

She flew to the middle of the bunk room and flung him in mid-air. “Whoa!” he exclaimed before getting his balance back, then joining the new couple and Andy a few seconds later, before they flew out the window, Gabby whooping in delight.

Then she, being the daredevil she is, flew up insanely high, transformed and did a back flip then transformed back, laughing ‘Perfect Weapon’ style. “Come on guys, you gotta try this!” she shouted at the bats hanging on a tree.

“Come on!” she shouted before flying insanely fast at Andy and dodging him at the last moment. “Holy fucking shit! Don’t do that again!!” he shouted before chasing her.

She squealed when she saw him behind her so she flew up high again, shouting “Come get me Andy!” he flew up to her level and they changed back to human and free-fell back to earth changing back to bat form about 50m off the ground and they flew up again. Ashley and Jinxx looked at eachother and decided to join them.

They waited until Andy & Gabby had fallen back down again before flying up with them, changing back to human and falling. Then they turned back into bats and flew around a bit before Ashley said, “That was fun! I’m gonna do that again!” before re-joining Gabby & Andy.

Gabby laughed before going up one last time and staying human as she landed iron-man style with a patch of ice around her.

She heard Ashley exclaim “Oh my fucking god!” before he crashed into a tree, not watching where he was going, having seen the ice patch around her. Gabby looked up and gasped as she saw him crash and raced to catch him before he smacked onto the ground.

“Owwwie that hurt” Ashley grumbled, shaking his head.

“Ashley! Are you ok?” asked Andy and Jinxx as they flew over to him in Gabby’s arms.

“I’m ok, teensy headache from smacking into that tree. Gabsy can you let me go for a sec?” he said. Gabby let go of him and he flew up a little and changed back, landing on his feet.

Then he walked to the ice patch Gabby made and touched it. “Fuck that’s cold!” “Andy, Jinxx, you may want to hop off that tree and sit on Ash” she said, smirking, as her arms turned extremely pale and glittery, like an icicle or pile of snow.

“Why’s that?” Andy asked as he sat on Gabby’s shoulder, Jinxx sat on Ashley. Gabby held up one of her ‘frozen’ arms. “You’re an ice vampire aren’t you? You can control ice, snow & cold can't you?” said Ashley as he realized what she was. “Yup, we’re extremely rare, rarer than fire vampires like you & Andy and yeah it was obvious that I'm an ice vamp from my ‘icy’ iron man landing over there” “That explains why your expression earlier literally froze me!” said Ashley.

Gabby laughed before shooting an ice beam at the tree, completely freezing it, as though it was a life-size ice sculpture. Andy’s jaw dropped – which was adorable as a bat. Then he hopped off his sister’s shoulder and changed back, Jinxx doing the same.

“You’re an ice vampire? Jinxx is one too” said Ashley. Gabby nodded, “Yup, and from the way your skin was boiling hot earlier I’m guessing you’re a fire vampire? Andy too, he was roasting” “Yeah we are” they said, their bodies igniting, Gabby & Jinxx froze (as in ice-blocks) as they raised their arms and made it snow.

Then Andy & Gabby smirking, they ran 50m apart and sent ice & fire beams at each other, meeting in the middle. In a power play struggle they pushed their beams toward each other, each of them getting closer to the other before the tables were turned on them. Eventually Gabby’s ice beam won and Andy was standing there shivering, his skin pale blue and lower half enclosed in solid ice. Ashley tried to thaw him out but his flames were extinguished.

“Nice try Purdy, fire vamps can’t thaw out what ice vamps do” said Jinxx as he enclosed Ashley in ice too. “Holy fuck this is cold!” he complained. “Y-Y-You’re t-t-t-telling m-me” Andy stuttered, his teeth chattering.

The newly zinged couple laughed and cupped their hands, summoning the ice back and allowing the fire boys to thaw out. Then Gabby and Jinxx found themselves surrounded in flames, both of them sweating profusely.
“Motherfucker! It’s a good thing I'm used to Skylar doing this” Gabby swore, stripping out of her shirt, ripping her socks off and most of her pants.

Jinxx couldn’t help but stare at his mate, his jaw hanging open.

Then he saw the elemental mark on her sides. .

“Hey guys can you call off this heat? We’re gonna melt if we stay in here too much longer” he said, he’d already ripped his clothes off. The flames vanished and the couple raced toward each other and froze each other, both of them sighing in relief.

“What’s that on your side?” asked Ashley as the couple let go of each other. “My elemental mark. I’m covered in snowflakes, Jinxx too by the looks of it. You two have fire on you” Gabby replied, spotting their elemental marks.

“That we are…” Ashley said, laughing as he hi-fived Gabby, not realising she ‘froze’ her arm and found his hand was surrounded by ice.

He cursed insanely as Gabby flew off, shrieking with laughter, icy wings on her back. That was another thing with elemental vampires; they get fairy-like wings as well as a bat form. Whenever Gabby and Jinxx fly around with them rather than in their bat forms, they leave a trail of snowflakes; Andy & Ash leave fiery sparks behind them.

“Wow” Jinxx gasped, staring at his mate’s wings, before he let his out and joined her, both of them dancing in the sky – they were doing some sort of waltz/ballet, causing it to snow again, Andy & Ashley grinning, thankful that the snow wasn’t cold. Then the fire vamps let their wings out and joined them, their heat aura’s melting the snow around them.

A few hours later they decided to call it a night and head back to the bus before it left without them. “That was fun” said Gabby as she let her wings fade, then hugged Jinxx. “We should sooo do that again sometime with Jake & CC” Andy agreed, slipping into his bunk, literally.

“Unholy shit, who did that?!” he cried as he slipped on a patch of ice that Gabby sneakily placed there. Andy turned around and glared at Gabby & Jinxx, Ashley was standing to the side, just about pissing himself from laughter.

Jinxx was having a hard time controlling his laughter, while Gabby stood there with an innocent look on her face that was remarkably identical to Andy, just more effeminate, her arms handing by her sides, her wings back out and a little snow halo around her head – oh yeah, she was totally innocent.

Andy sussed her out before saying “Gabby,” “Yes Andy?” she replied, an innocent tone to match her expression. “Did you put that patch of ice on the floor?” “Now, now Andy. Accusing your sister of such a thing? I would never do that!” Gabby replied, her sentence dripping with sass.

Andy eyed her one more time before turning his wary glare onto Jinxx. “Wasn’t me man” Jinxx said, raising his arms in surrender. Gabby cackled and her halo vanished to be replaced by devil horns and a tail to match. “You cheeky little vampire!” Andy laughed before crushing his sister in a hug, startling her.

“Eek!” she squeaked as she found herself crushed against her brother’s chest before he let her go. “Well, I dont know about you guys but I'm gonna hit the sack while we can” said Ashley, barely stifling a yawn.

“Nighty-night Ashy” said Gabby giving him a hug before waving her hand to vanish the ice patch at Andy’s bunk as Ash crawled into bed. “Night gabs” Andy said, crawling into his bunk and curling up into a ball. Gabby giggled, “Night Ands”.

Jinxx smiled and enclosed his mate in his arms, sighing happily that he’d found his zing. He was crushed that Sammi had cheated even though he knew she wasn’t his zing.

“Shall we head to bed my love?” Jinxx asked her. “Sure my darling. I’ll just need to borrow your clothes to sleep in. Skinny jeans and tanks like this aren’t comfy to sleep in” said Gabby, kissing his cheek.

Jinxx blushed before digging out a jack skellington tee and a pair of black boxers and handed them to her. “Thanks Jinxxy” she said before skipping into the bathroom to change.

A few minutes later she came out and wriggled into Jinxx’s bunk with him, the two of them falling asleep quickly in eachother’s arms.
