For the love of my father

Juliet asks about my day and I ignore her brushing her off with "it was fines" When she asked about Kain and Kaimarin I froze up glaring out the window. Why is it that the only guy who's ever flirted with me ends up being my only new friends brother? What do I tell them? Should I tell Andy ? He was jealous last time Kain hit on me and that night he almost kissed me . Hmmm maybe ill do that .


"So I have my gig tonight which ill be leaving for right after I drop you off at home Andy is going too but he said we should ask to see if you wanted to go see mommy preform. You do right? Right I thought so . Daddy is even going to sing with me in a song or two." Juliet says to be without giving me a chance to answer.


Just then my phone vibrates in my lap .I open it to see a text from Kaimarin .


' So you kinda know my bro thats a bit strange but I can deal . lol . Party tonight , You in? Promise only good music and fun people. '

I smile at his text and debate watching Juliet sing with the promise of actual good music. I text him back quickly .

'Whats the time and address ? Ill be there . :) '


"Actually Juliet .. I was kinda invited to a party tonight to meet some new people … sorry." I apologize even though I'm not .


"Oh thats okay I can sing you one of my songs now so you can hear what you'll be missing out on tonight" She says and starts to sing her song wild child .


20 minutes of torture later we are home and I escape the car as fast as I can . I run inside and start going through my clothes till I find the dress I was looking for. A modern style stand collar double layered hem long sleeve worsted dress. The skirt of the dress went mid-thigh on me and I pair it with a pair of black Nightwalks from Jeffery Campbell.


I start curling my hair as I get a text from Kaimarin again telling me the time and address. Andy walks into my room without knocking and stands in my bathroom door way.


" So you're going out tonight?" he asks looking my outfit up and down.

"Yep" I reply finishing my hair.

" With who? " He inquires

" Kaimarin he's the new friend I made at school today." I tell him thinking I add " Turns out the guy from the other day at the movies is his brother."


Andy's body freezes and his eyes lock with mine in the mirror. Jealousy and rage is evident from the scold he was giving me .

In a chocked voice he says " That so… Maybe I should stay home then and make sure you are home by 11"

"11:00? why so early?" I ask turning to look him in the eyes. " Plus don't you have to sing with Juliet tonight so you cant stay ."

" Fine but I expect you in this house by 11:30 pm the latest 12:00 and I will have someone checking" he says as he walks out of my room.

A smile forms on my lips as I apply some nude lip color to my lips. Some ones mad and jealous . I guess he just might care a little about me more then a daughter . Checking the time I walk outside and to the car Andy gave me permission to use. Unlocking the door a hand wraps around my waist and turns me around. My lips crash into Andy's for a moment. Stunned yet sane I kiss back . Letting me go he whispers seriously ,

" Be safe baby doll ." then adds laughing " mommy and me will be worried "

Im to shocked to respond as he walks back into the house.A million questions run through my head. What was that? Was that on purpose or did he just miss my cheek? Was it as good for him as it was for me? I slowly get in the car and pull out of the drive way hoping a little party will help me stop obsessing over my kiss with Andy . My phone rings causing me to jump a little as Andy's voice fills the silent car.

Answering it after I see its Kaimarin I say " hello" trying to make my voice sound normal.

" You still coming ?"he asks as I turn down another street .

"On my way."
