We Don't Belong

Andy and I walked into the mall holding hands. I immediately saw Vineyard Vines, but Andy pulled me to Hot Topic.

"Why exactly are we in here Andy?" I asked.

"We are going to get you some clothes to wear to the concert tonight."

"But, I am not going Andy," I said confused.

"You are now. I bought an extra ticket just in case. I think you will really like them. This will count as our first date," he said smiling.

"I was actually gonna ask you if I could go."

"Of course you can Charlotte," he said," now let's go get you some more appropriate clothes to wear."

We went into Hot Topic and Andy led me straight to a wall of band shirts.

"Pick any one you like," he said with a smirk on his face," I recommend one of the Day to Remember shirts."

I picked one up that looked kind of okay. It was a white tank top with A Day To Remember written on the front.

Andy looked at me and said," good choice."

We walked over to find me some shorts. Andy immediately picked up a pair of destroyed denim shorts and said, "these are perfect."

I agreed and we went to check out. By the looks of the cashier and everyone in the store, I was the one being judged now. I could finally relate to how Andy felt constantly. I tried to remember the fact that he just ignores it.

The girl at the register asked Andy for his autograph while she checked us out. She told him that she was a big fan and that she couldn't wait till they made it. He gladly agreed with a smile.

"Why would you even bring her in here," she asked," she has definitely never even heard of this store before."

"Will you just leave her alone? She is with me and I am proud of it. I know she is different, but that is what I love about her."


"I wasn't trying to be rude," she said defensively.

"It sure seemed like it. I thought the same thing at first, but I gave her a chance and now she is one of my closest friends that I would do absolutely anything for. She, unlike most preppy and stuck up people," he interrupted and turned to me," no offense babe," he turned back to the girl," Charlotte actually gave this music a chance, so back the fuck off."

He grabbed the bag with my new clothes, grabbed my hand, and we stormed out of the store.

"I'm sorry that you had to deal with that," he said apologetically,"I just hate it when people judge others based on their appearance. I guess I overreacted, but she had no reason to say that stuff."

"Andy," I said looking into his beautiful eyes," it is okay. I'm not gonna lie, before I met you, I was someone who judged people like you too. I just always thought that you were so different I..I..I'm sorry Andy."

"Don't be sorry, beautiful," he said reassuringly, " like I said, I did the same. Let's just forgive each other and forget our differences."

"Okay Andy, I'm glad we talked about this."

"Come on Charlotte, let's go to a store that you like," he said smiling," and maybe I will let you buy me something.. if you are lucky."

"Oh, I am most definitely buying you something. Since I have to wear what you want, you have to wear what I want," I said smirking.

Andy rolled his blue eyes, still smiling his beautiful smile. I led him directly to Vineyard Vines, the preppiest store I could think of.

Hey Guys! Sorry it took so long to update. I have been really busy working on my collab story with ItsAllDoneForYouu. You guys should read that one too. It is called "I Won't Let You Down"

I am gonna try to update again tomorrow. I have already written more, but I just have to find the time to post it.
