We Don't Belong

Andy and I went inside to find that there were only about twenty people left.

"Let's try to find Brett and Maxy," I said.

"Okay. I don't see them in here, but I have a good idea of where they might be. Follow me."

I followed Andy downstairs to the basement to find Maxy and Brett making out. Andy cleared his throat and they both looked at us, embarrassed.

"What in the hell could you possibly want Andy? Can't you see we are a little busy here?" Brett said, annoyed.

"We just wondered where you guys were and we wanted to tell you that we are both going to give love another chance. We talked and decided that it is time to try and move on. We are going to hang out more and see where it takes us. I told her how beautiful she is and she told me that I would be a really great boyfriend," Andy said.

Maxy jumped up and ran hug me. She whispered in my ear," I told you so."

"Hey Charlotte," Andy said,"would you maybe want to go get some coffee or something tomorrow morning?"

"That would be awesome. I can't wait," I said smiling.

"Let's go back upstairs and leave these two alone so they can get back to what they were doing."

Andy and I went upstairs to find that everyone had finally left.

"Maybe we should try to start cleaning this place up," I said.

"That seems like a smart thing to do. But only under one condition."

"And what might that condition be?" I asked playfully.

"We have to listen to whatever I want, which means Black Veil Brides. We are going to expose you to some real music."

"Okay Andy, whatever you say."

Andy walked over to the music dock and plugged his phone in.

"This song is called Knives and Pens," he said.

The song opened with a loud scream. Andy began to sing along. Man his voice was amazing. I hadn't expected him to be that good. Despite the screaming, the song was pretty good.

"I actually liked that song Andy! I had no idea that this kind of music could be so good! By the way, your voice is amazing! I love it so much!"

"See! You just had to give it a chance! I knew we could change you!"

Brett and Maxy came upstairs holding hands after they heard Andy's singing. They noticed that we had cleaned up a little and helped us finish. Maxy and I took out the trash while Andy and Brett stayed inside to straighten up a little more.

Outside Maxy said, " So you and Andy huh?"

"I think it could turn into something. We talked and we were willing to give love a try."

"I am so glad that this is gonna work! Come on, you and I are gonna sleep upstairs in my room and Brett and Andy will be downstairs. Let's go and say goodnight and then go up to shower and stuff."

We went inside and Maxy kissed Brett as he held her in his arms.

"Goodnight babe. I love you," he said sweetly.

They stayed like that for a minute. Andy and I looked at each other and smiled.

"I will see you in the morning Charlotte," he said sweetly," I can't wait for our breakfast date."

Maxy let go of Brett and we went upstairs.

"I'm gonna take a shower," I said.

"I think I might take another one too, but you can go first. Let me get you a towel and stuff," Maxy said.

She gave me a towel and washcloth and I went to shower. I turned the shower on and stood under the hot water thinking about Andy. I actually really liked him now. He seemed like such a nice guy. I couldn't wait to see how our date went tomorrow.

I started to sing the song he played for me earlier. I really liked it and I liked it even more now that I was starting to like and trust Andy more.

I got out of the shower, put some PJ's on, and went back into Maxy's room to find that she wasn't there. Confused, I went downstairs to look for her. I went down and saw that she was talking to Brett and Andy.

Maxy saw me first and said," hey Charlotte! Your voice was amazing in the shower!"

"We could kinda hear you from here," Andy said," I heard the chorus of Knives and Pens," he said smiling.

"Alright. Charlotte and I are going to go to bed," Maxy said," see you guys in the morning."

"Goodnight babe," Brett said.

"Goodnight Charlotte," Andy said.
