We Don't Belong

Andy POV

"Charlotte! Wait!! Come here, we need to.."

I'm interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing in my back pocket. I pull it out and see Juliet's number.

Fuck. What does she want now?

-Hello?

-Hi babe. I have something to tell you...

-I'm kinda in the middle of something here...

- No Andy. It's really important..

-Juliet just tell me please. I really need to take care of something.

- Andy.. You remember the last time you came over like a few months ago?

- Yeah.

-Well remember how you didn't have a condom??

-Oh god Juliet.

-Andy. I'm pregnant. I was afraid to tell you.

- Wait a second. We did have a condom...

She pauses for a second. I start to get suspicious.

- No remember. We didn't..

Fuck. What am I gonna tell Charlotte?

- Look juliet. I'm in love with Charlotte now. I'm not leaving her..

-But I'm pregnant.. With your baby..

-Juliet there's no way it can be mine.. You would have known earlier. Why don't you call Ashley.. He might know something.. You know since you guys were together the whole time we were. I can fucking promise you that's not my baby.

- But Andy....

-Bye Juliet. Don't fucking call me again. I'll deal with this bullshit later.

I hang up the phone angrily and keep running towards Charlotte. When I get close enough, I see she is running into the girls bathroom.

I sigh. God. I've gotta find Maxy or something now. I have to fix this.
I push through the crowd and see Maxy talking to Ash Costello from New Years Day.

"MAXY! I've been looking all over for you!!" I say grabbing her arm.

She smiles at Ash and turns to me, annoyed as fuck.

"Shouldn't you be looking for your girlfriend? You hurt her.. bad.."

"I know I did and I'm a fucking idiot. She just went into the girls bathroom..."

"So you want me to go fix your damn problems?"

"No. I just need you to convince her to come talk to me.."

"Fine. Let's go. Bye Ash. Ill see you around. Text me sometime!"

She hugs her and starts to head to the bathroom. She doesn't wait for me. I'm forced to stand outside anxiously waiting.

I start thinking about how Juliet was cheating on me with the bass player in my band, Ashley.

Last time I checked, they were still together. I mean.. it doesn't bother me that much anymore.
I still consider him one of my few best friends, but we haven't been as close since I found out. We ignored each other for at least a month. That was hard, considering we still had to practice as a band.

I cross my arms. I think to myself, ' I wonder if she told Ashley..'

I shrug it off after thinking about it for a minute or two. I look back at the bathroom and search frantically for Charlotte.

Still no sign of her.. I guess Maxy is still trying to convince her.

Damn. I don't blame her. I would do the same.

Maxy POV

I can't believe Andy didn't tell Charlotte about that bitch.

I have to help him though... He would do the same for me.

I push my way through the crowd and push the bathroom door open fast.

I call out," Charlotte! Where are you??"

I hear a weak whimper from the back stall. I run to it and bang on the door.

"Charlotte.. you have to open the door. I need to talk to you.."

I see her get up from where she was sitting and unlock the door.

"What.. If you're just coming to say its not what it looks like, I don't wanna talk."

" Charlotte.. I know what Andy did was wrong, but at least give him a chance to explain himself.."

She stands up and crosses her arms.

"Maxy.. I don't know if i can forgive him.. I mean obviously she is still a part of his life for some reason."

"Look. Its not fair for Andy if I explain it. Its his business. Lets go outside and you two can work things out."

She doesn't say a word and pushes past me and walks outside.

Andy POV

I see Charlotte coming out of the bathroom and I run over to hug her.

The second I get over to her she screams," Get the fuck off!!!"

I let go and step back, a sad expression on my face.

Maxy says," I'm going to find Brett. You guys can figure this out. Charlotte I will see you later, OK? When you and Andy talk things out, just go back to my house."

Charlotte nods and walks over to hug Maxy.

I hear Maxy whisper," Its gonna be okay Charlotte. Even if you choose not to forgive Andy. You still have Brett and I."

Charlotte smiles and Maxy hugs her one more time before running off to find Brett, who knows about none of this.

I grab Charlottes hand and start leading her to the exit. I figured we would need someplace quiet to talk.

We get to the exit and start walking towards her car.

I take a deep breath," Charlotte. I can explain this whole thing okay?"

"Fine Andy. No BS."

"I promise. Look, I'm sorry I never told you about Juliet, I didn't think she would be a problem. We have been broken up for almost two months. I promise that I don't love her or have any feelings left for her. She cheated on me.. the whole time we were together.. With the bassist from my band, Ashley."

"Okay Andy. I believe you. I'm sorry that that had to happen to you.. I just wish you would have told me.. I wouldn't be as upset if you had just told me that she still had feelings for you."

"I know Charlotte. I was gonna tell you. I was just waiting for the right time to tell you."

"Well I don't think it was fair for me to have to find out on my own.."

"I know it wasn't Char, and thats my fault. Now that you know the truth.. I have something else to say that you are probably gonna hate me for.."

The look of relief on her face fades away. I grab both of her hands and look straight into her beautiful deep brown eyes.

"Charlotte.. First of all.. I.. I.. Love.. You."

She looks shocked and whispers," I love you too Andy.. But now I'm afraid of whats gonna make me hate you.."

"Yeah.. me too... Well I just found out that Juliet is pregnant.."
