Are you serious?! Riots that amazing! Holy fuck! I'm sooo coming to that! you better get me tickets or I'll bake you in my oven!" He threatened "Andy you don't even know how to turn an oven on for Christ sake! And of course I'll get you tickets! My best friend HAS to be there! Duh!" He laughed "hey! That's offensive if I can turn a girl on then I can turn an oven on!" He said "well then you definitely can't turn on an oven then" I laughed. We were all so hyped up and couldn't wait to get out there. Nerves had turned into adrenaline. I was so excited I could barely contain it when we were finally called to stage. Apparently the place was sold out because of our band which was strange because I didn't think we were that known. Andy, his band and chance came too and all stood side stage. But anyway, we walked on stage and the crowd erupted into screaming and cheers and a few "I'd so fuck you guys!" And "you guys are hot as fuck!" Which was quite funny. "Hey everyone we are Aimless Venom Reaction and we came to fuck shit up! And obviously give you a good time! So hopefully you can understand what I'm saying because obviously I'm not from here. I'm from Ireland in case you couldn't tell and come on everyone loves the Irish right?!" I said in to the mic. The crowd cheered again hopefully agreeing with me. Jesus Christ I worried about my poor eardrums. "Okay so this first song is just a soft easy one to start of with and is called razorblade symphony. I want to play this first because it means a lot to me and i wrote about one of my best friends who took her own life so this goes out to her and anyone who van relate to this." I said as we then started into the song. After that song we started into our heavy stuff like 'Ideal Idiot', 'she's too gorgeous', 'empty mind', 'save your own soul' and 'who needs hell?' And the rest of our songs too while I jumped around stage, completely pumped with energy and getting the crowd going which obviously worked as a mosh pit started in our screaming songs but most of our songs are considered 'screamo' apart from 'razorblade symphony' really. Everything was going great until I spotted some fucking asshole in the middle of the crowd flipping us off and saying we suck and shit so before I went on to the next song I stopped the rest of the band and obviously I had something to say. "Hey asshole look if you're gonna stand there and flip us off then there's the door. You're wasting your time because nobody gives a fuck" he replied with "you fucking suck!" "If we suck so bad then why the fuck are you here? Did you seriously pay money to go to OUR concert and all to flip us off? Wow that's amazing!" I said in actual disbelief at his stupidity and continued "you do realize that the money you paid to get in here to flip us off goes to us right?" He kind of stood there looking dumbfounded and then started shouting profanities at me "I'm the one up here with the mic jackass which you have obviously forgotten and i could tear you down right here and now no problem but to be honest I wouldn't really need to because when you're here in a room full of my best friends, you are going to be one lonely motherfucker, I can promise you that and I can also give you a little advice to watch your ass going out that door because we have a lot of dedicated fans who, trust me, wouldn't be afraid to whip your ass. Sorry everyone, I'm going off on another rant here but its just that you have to understand that our band has worked so fucking hard to get where we're at right now and we are so proud because not many people get to be on a stage like this without being signed so its an honor for us and a proud moment so when some asshole like this tries to tear us down you have to understand my frustration because this is our dream and I'm not going to let anyone try to take it away from me or put us down because of it so I only have one last thing to say to you motherfucker and that is, go fuck yourself! There's the fucking door by all means walk the fuck through it because no one in the room gives a shit about what you have to say, they are here for a good show and that's exactly the fuck what we're going to give them so fuck you asshole!" I shouted into the mic. Wow what a rant! I never expected that to come out of me. After that we finished the rest of our show and headed back stage again "oh my god you guys were amazing Andy and his band shouted "thanks guys, let's all go for drinks to celebrate!" Andy gave me a piggy back to the bar and started running but almost fell which was really funny. We and all just started into our first drink when a man who seemed to be in his late thirties walked up to us "hi my name is Zack Lofter, I'm a producer at universal records" he said "hey nice to meet you!" We all said "well i just wanted to say the show was amazing and I have a proposition for you if you would like to hear it?" He asked "sure go ahead" I replied '" okay well I really like your sound and look, it really cool and I like how unique you guys are, I mean come, there are like no all girl heavy metal bands out there and I think you guys would have a fantastic shot at the music business and I could really see you guys go really far in the music world so would just like to offer you guys a contract with universal records if you're interested?" He said "oh my god! Yes!" We all said simultaneously "glad to hear it so would it be possible to come to a meeting on Thursday then to sign the contract and discuss what you would like to do with your music. You have complete control over how you want it to sound we are not going to tell you how to sound, you just have to tell us and we'll get your equipment sorted and pre-production and studio dates set for you" he said. I couldn't believe this was happening "yes that's no problem at all" we said "well then we hope to see you in LA on Thursday then, don't worry we'll pay for all the flights and such" I almost choked on my drink "sorry, LA?" I said kind of shocked "yes that where our record label is based" I looked to Andy for some help but he had his head turned away "um okay can I have your number and we'll let you known our decision later tonight?" I asked "of course but no later than tonight" he said as he handed me his card, smiled and walked away. I turned to Andy again "hey um would you come outside with me for a smoke Andy?" I asked "uh yeah sure" he replied, got up and followed me out the door of the venue. What the fuck was I going to do I'd be leaving ever thing behind!
