Found Again

time lapse - 10 months Over the last ten months Andy and I both graduated and decided that Andy, Chance and myself would move in together and go to university, so Andy and Chance applied for a performing arts college and I made the choice to go to university to do media studies. Alex and I are still going strong and he often stays over at our house. Chance and Andy aren't completely stoked about it though because apparently the headboard of my bed is very loud when it slams against the wall at night... whoops... Today was a really big day for me as it was my first day at university I was so excited I thought I was either going to burst or piss myself and hopefully not the second one. I got into my beat up little car and began my journey to university. When I got there I had to look at the sheet again to find out which building I was in which was building 6, so I made my way quickly over there. I entered the room and the professor wasn't here yet so I got my laptop, pen and paper out of my bag. I was just opening my laptop when someone sat down beside me, I looked to my right to see a girl around the same age as me with curly brown hair and tattoos running up and down her arms. She turned around to face me and smiled. "Hi! I'm Roxie. What's your name?" She asked in a British accent. "Hey, I'm Riot. I love your tattoos!" "Thanks mate I love your hair its soo fucking cool! Where are you from?" "Oh I'm from Ireland. What part of England are you from?" "Oh I'm from London""nice!" Before we could say anymore the professor walked in and apologized for being late. When the the day ended Roxie and I exchanged numbers and headed our desperate ways again. When I got home chance was making some kind of pasta and sauce. Chance and I both agreed that Andy was not allowed near the cooker since we'd rather not have the house burned down. "Where's Andy?" "He'll be back soon he's gone to his parents to pick up the last of his stuff from the house" "oh right okay" "uhm so Alex called..." "yeah?" "He said he needs to talk to you and that its like really important so he told me to tell you to call him straight away" okay I'll be back in a minute then" I excused myself and headed to my room to call Alex. He picked up after three rings "hey Riot, look we need to talk" "okay then, talk" "look Riot, I think we should go our separate ways. I love you with all my heart but I just don't feel IN love with you anymore I'm so sorry but can we please and I'm begging you here, can we please be friends because even though we're not together anymore I couldn't bear you not being in my life at all. Please?" "No Alex I completely understand I was starting to feel that way too so its okay and of course we can still be friends!" "Oh my god I'm so glad! Okay Riot I got to go now but I'll text you later okay?" Sure no problem see ya later Alex" I said and then hung up. I couldn't decide whether I was sad or relieved. Sad because I loved him a lot but relieved because we didn't see much of each other anyway so it almost didn't feel like a relationship. It was strange because I didn't even feel like crying. I heard the front door close and knew that was Andy coming in. I decided I would just put my earphones in and chill for a while and work on writing a new song. I was standing up facing the window when all of a sudden I felt arms pull my waist and next thing I knew I was on Andy's shoulder and he was running around my room with me before I got thrown on to the bed and tickled horribly. "Aggghhhh!! Andy what the fuck? You goddamn asshole! You fucking scared me shitless, dickwad!" He was too busy laughing to even care. Finally he sobered up from laughing "well how was first day at university?" Yeah it was good. I made a new friend" he pouted "don't worry Andrew she won't replace you." He made a face at the fact I called him Andrew. I sighed, still kinda bummed about Alex "hey what's up?" He said "uhm Alex broke up with me today" "what?! Why?! Do I need to kick his fucking ass?! Because I'll do it! He won't have two legs to walk on when I'm done!! "Andy don't worry he didn't do anything we talked and just decided it was better that we part ways because even though we love each other we aren't IN love with each other anymore but we also decided to remain friends" oh well that's good. I though i was going to have to go all angry Andy on him there!" He said and I laughed lightly "well dinners ready so let's go downstairs now" once again he unexpectedly threw me over his shoulder again and is screamed "who the fuck is getting raped up there?!" Chance screamed up at us "oh hardy har har youse so funny Chance but we were actually just preparing to molest you! Muahaha!" Andy replied in a really weird voice that I never want to hear him use ever again! Chance and I just looked at weirdly and returned to eating our pasta. I had university the next day so I had an early night and a dreamless sleep
