I was working merch the next day.I hated merch and Kyle knew it. I guess it was punishment for the night before.

“So how’s your day going?” Andy asked as I was setting up the merchandise.

“I’m not supposed to be talking to you.” I said not making eye contact with him.I didn’t want to be in anymore trouble with Kyle.

“You’re telling me that you’re actually listening to that asshole.” Andy scoffed.

“That asshole has been there for me through a lot of shit. So yes I’m actually listening to him.” I answered.

“Doesn’t mean that I have to listen to him.” He answered. “I find you very attractive.”

“And that makes you sound like a misogynistic pig. Thinking that because you tell me that I’m attractive that I will just fall head over heels for you. I’m not dumb, I know you’re game.” I said getting annoyed at the fact that he wouldn’t go away.

“You can’t tell me that you don’t judge people based on their looks. It’s how everyone is, they just pull the beauty is on the inside shit to make everyone feel better about themselves.” He argued leaning against the table. “It’s instinct to judge people on looks.People just don’t like to acknowledge it.”

“I’m judging you.” I said looking at him. “You may be extremely attractive but you’re an asshole. And I’m through with dealing with people like you.”

Andy smirked, “You didn’t seem to think that last night when we were making out. You even wanted to have sex with me.”

“Alcohol impairs judgment; it’s a proven fact. You should know that by now.I’m sure that’s how half the girls you’ve slept with have gotten past your giant ego.”

“I don’t think you wanted to sleep with me because of the alcohol. I think you wanted to because you’re a whore.”

I slapped him, catching both him and me by surprise. I covered my mouth and walked away. I was afraid that if I stayed I would apologize and he didn’t deserve that. He deserved to be knocked the fuck out.

“I thought you were supposed to be working merch.” Kyle said when I went into the green room.

“Andy was there and I slapped him.” I answered as I sat next to him.

“What? You could get us kicked off of this tour.” Kyle sounded pissed. “What happened?”

“I think this is considered to be a don’t ask, don’t tell moment.” I answered not wanting to tell him.

Kyle shook his head. “I don’t think so. Tell me.”

I sighed, “Well it surprised me and it surprised him; all parts of the equation were surprised.”

“Was there anybody else there?” Kyle asked before I could finish.

“Hey don’t interrupt my story.” I scolded. “He called me a whore so I smacked him.”

“She slapped me!” Andy exclaimed. He had told me the whole story and I didn’t feel sympathy for him.

“You called her a whore. You deserved it.” I answered him tired of him trying to get sympathy. “You don’t tell a girl that you want to sleep with that she’s a whore, it’s counterproductive. I would have knocked you the fuck out.”

“I don’t why she would listen to that guy.” He said dis regarding what I had said. He was really thick sometimes. I doubt he listened to half the things I ever said to him.

“He’s her friend and you’re just an asshole who called her a whore. I would listen to him too.”

“Geez Kat. Who pissed in your Wheaties this morning?” Andy asked me, showing that he was actually listening to what I was saying.

“Danny.” I answered. “I don’t know how I haven't killed them yet. And I don’t know how you convinced me it would be a great idea to tour with them again.” I was their guitar tech. I took after my brother Jake with my awesome guitar skills.

“Because Ben, Cameron and Sam wanted you back and we’re the only two bands that can handle your shrewdness.” Andy replied. They liked to point out the fact that I was one of the biggest bitches in the world on a daily basis. I was truthful but most people didn't see it that way.

“Thy only like me because I can control Danny.” Danny had reminded me many times that he wanted to sleep with me so that was why he actually listened to me.

“They also like you because you’re a good guitar tech and hot.” Andy pointed out.

“Well I’m glad my looks are good for something.” I stood up from where I was sitting with Andy. “I would love to chat with you some more about how you got bitch slapped but I have some things to do. Be nice and maybe she’ll like you. Be yourself and not who you think you should be.”

I left the Black Veil Brides buss and headed for the venue. When I opened the door I nearly ran into Kyle Pavone.

“Sorry.” I apologized and walked past him.

“You’re the girl that hangs out with Black Veil Brides aren’t you?” He asked looking me over.

“Yes I’m the girl but I much prefer being called Kat.” I replied. “Or Katherine, or even Pitt on some occasions but that’s reserved only for friends.”

“Tell them to stay away from my friend. She doesn’t need their help with getting into trouble.” Kyle replied.

“I’m not going to tell them anything, that’s not my job.” I replied highly annoyed. Stupid asshole was trying to tell me what to do.I think not. “Besides they are good people, despite what others might say.”

“Is that why Andy called Alex a whore?” Kyle asked crossing his arms across his chest.

“I’m pretty sure she called him an asshole first. So before you go pointing fingers at my friends, make sure yours didn’t do anything to provoke them.” I said and then walked away before he could say anything else.
