Melanie's perspective

I was laying in my padded room in the hospitable its been two years since what happened.... I was letting the tears fall silently, if I start an episode the'll put the straight jacket on me and put the bed restraints on, I don't feel like fighting them at all right now.... I guess your probably wondering why I'm in hear well hear goes nothing...


~~ Two years ago~~

I was walking home from school after yet another shitty day, the only person I could talk to was Andy but he's been leaving night after night to go to Ashley's... I mean not that I hate Ash I love him, but I need my brother hes the only one I can really trust, I walk up the steps to my house and enter but as soon as I did I heard screaming from the kitchen "MOM STOP, MEL WILL BE HOME ANY MINUTE I DON'T WANT HER TO SEE THIS" Andy yelled what was going on "I CANT TAKE THIS ANY MORE I'M TO TIRED TO TRY" my mom said, it sounded like she was crying... my mom has sever depression and bi-polar but what could she be doing "A-Andy...mom?" I called out "MEL PLEASE DON'T COME IN HEAR!!" And said his voice cracking but I didn't listen I wanted to know what was wrong with my mama, I walked into the kitchen to see my mom... holding a gun to her head "MAMA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??" I asked in terror "GET HER OUT OF HEAR!" my mom screeched and Andy tried to move me but I lunged forward "NO MAMA PLEASE" I screamed as And took me in his grasp not moving "mom stop your scaring her" Andy tried to sound brave, he was down on a bended knee holding me close "MOMMY PLEASE STOP!" I cried "I'm sorry sweaty" she whispered before pulling the trigger and the bullet went through her head, I could feel Andy duck his head down but mine staid up it took a minute to realize what happened "NO! MAMA NOOOO" I cried trying to escape but he got a hold of me "NOOOOO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as he dragged me out side onto the grass, I just sat there struggling to get free kicking and screaming till the paramedics got hear...

Lets just say after that things started and I got sent to grays mental care...

~~present~~

It was horrible in hear I wasn't aloud to see anyone except family and Andy only got to visit twice a week, I cant believe I've been hear for two years then the door opened slightly and Kathy popped her head through "Mel you have visitors" she said in her sweat voice... wait visitors?? theirs two I just nodded more and more tears started the last lime I spoke was when I got hear, all I would do was whisper to Andy occasionally, "Mel..? A-Ashley is hear to see you" Andy said quietly coming to my side grabbing my hand, shit the lat time I talked to ash was when I had my episode and got sent hear, "Mel? can you hear me?" he asked a little worried I just nodded, Ash pulled a chair up beside me and looked at me with a sad expression "hey Mel... how are you?" Ash questioned I just shrugged still not wanting to talk I haven't even talked to the psychiatric helpers I could feel myself slipping into another one of my episodes NO I just got Andy coming back I can't loose him again, I started to cry uncontrollably and Andy wrapped me in his arms making shushing noises but it wasn't helping I then started to scream and kick, then I lost control of what I was doing.

Andy's Perspective

it was horrible she was flailing kicking and screaming I was trying to hold her down but it wasn't working the nurses came in with a straight jacket and placed it securely around her, the look in her eyes was pure terror it broke my heart I mean she was my sister, tears were steaming down her face as they placed her down on the bed they got the restaurants on her ans put a sedative in her, it took a few minutes until she calmed down, she looked so peaceful but at the same time so heartbreaking... This was going to be a long road to recovery.
