We got to school and I got out of the car, and Jo walked around the car, grabbing my hand. I smiled, and walked into the buliding, and opened my locker."Hey guys." Gemma said,hugging me. "Hey." I said, grabbing my books and shoving them into my bag. "So anyone seen that Emo today?" Gemma asked, looking at us all.
"I have! He's a twat." Danny said, and I glared at him. "I know he is. All he ever does is listen to music, he never looks up or smiles." Joe said, and the others laughed. "Well maybe if you stopped taking the piss out of him and just left him be he might actually smile." I said, and everyone stopped.

"Well he's a piece of shit Lzzy, he needs to know that." Danny said, and the others laughed again. "Well whatever you think of him you should keep to yourself." I said, and Danny laughed. "If I wasnt thinking straight, I would think that you had a soft spot for Emo." He said, standing in front of meand folding his arms. I froze. I knew that if I kept defending him then everyone would turn on me, then it would be me being bullied instead of him. "No way. He's Emo, I'm not, who would want to be friends with a self harming Emo." I said, and Andy pushed past us. "Oh theres Emo boy!" Danny yelled, and everyone in the corridor laughed. I sighed and Joe pulled me away to lesson.

(End of school.)

I walked into the car park, hand in hand with Joe. "Well, I'll text you later babe." Joe said, and I nodded, and smiled. He leaned in, and kissed me. "Yeah, he'll be waiting for you!" Danny yelled, and I laughed. I kissed Joe again, and shoved my bags into the backseat of the car. "Hey theres Emo kid!" Joe yelled, and everone turned. Andy just continued to walk away, his head down. "Oi! Am you deaf?!" Joe called."Joe for god sake stop it." I hissed, but he ignored me. "OI get back here!" He called, chasing after him. "Joe!" I called, but he still ignored me. Andy began to run, and I called Joe until they had both dissapeared around the corner.

After a while Joe came back, a big smile on his face. "I showed him." He said, and I sighed,kissing his cheek and walkinfg off. "Where you going?" Joe called. "I'm walking home."
"Do you want a lift?"
"No I'm ok." I said, looking down at the floor, and walking around the corner, on my way home. I wasnt far from my house, when I heard someone kick a stone in front of me, I looked up, and saw Andy a few feet in front of me. I looked around me to make sure that no one I knew was about, and sped walked towards him.

"Hey." I said, and he flinched slightly. I saw his face. His nose was bloody, and his lip split. I gasped. "Jesus what the hell-"
"Don't bother." He said, storming off. I ran after him, and grabbed his shirt, pulling him towards my house. "What the fuck-let me go!" He said, but I kept my grasp on him, pushing him into my hall. I locked my door behind me, and pulled him towards the kitchen. "Sit down." I said, pulling out a chair. He sat down gingerly, and I opened the cuboard, and pulled out some kitchen roll, and grabbed a damp cloth off the sink. I pulled up a chair beside him, and he stared at me.

"It might be cold." I said, and I gently dabbed at him lip. "Why are you helping me?" He asked, wincing a little as I dabbed at him lip. "Because. I just don't think you should be treated like this just because of wo you are."
"But earlier you said that I was Emo so we couldent be friends."
"I didn't mean any of it. It's just because I'd never hear the end of it if they knew we were friends."
"Wait....were friends?"
"Well I think we could be." His eyes lit up, and he smiled at me. Something in my stomach flipped. I smiled back, and finished off dabbing at his injures. "Thank you Lzzy." He said, and I grinned at him, getting up and opening the fridge.

"No problem." I said, throwing him a monster energy drink. "So where are your parents?" He asked, taking a swig of energy drink. "Both at work, and my older sister is still at school."
"Why is she still at school?"
"Because she's little miss perfect and is doing after school classes until five each day to get extra grades so she can stay mommy and daddys little girl forever." I spat, hopping onto the counter. "Really? Take it that your pushed to the side?"

"All the time. When she's here it's like: 'oh darling were so proud of you, your going to do amazing things. And then theres me just sitting there with nothing to show for it even though my grades are ok."
"Well they don't know what there missing."
"What do you mean?"
"Well....I know I don't really know you that much but......Your amazing." He said, turning red and looking down. I smiled, and started to blush slightly. "Thank you...no one has ever said that to me." I said, and Andy looked up.

"What about your boyfriend?"
"Oh, he never says that, he's amazing and all, but he's never said anything like that."
"Well I don't know why, If I were him i'd remind you of it every minute of everyday."
"Gee......thanks." I said, and he nodded, finished him drink. "Well i'm off, my mom will wonder where I am." He said, grabbing him bag, and standing up. I grabbed a pen and paper and scribbled down my number. "Here. Text me." I said, passing it him. He took it, smiling, and left the house. I was left with a big old cheesey smile on my face.
