Call of the Hitman
The start of an unusual job
I aim down the sights. Adjust for wind. Deep breath in. And gently squeeze the trigger and listen to Kirsty's mighty howl!
"Thats one hell of a gun you've got there" said a voice behind me. I jump out of shock, Im sure I scouted the area first and this place was barren. I pull out my handgun and aim it at the figure but by time my sights was on him he was smoke.
"You dont need that" I heard on the wind. I spun round and the smoke moved again.
"Who are you?" the words falling confused from my lips.
"It doesnt matter what my name is right now, Im from F.E.A.R and we have a job for you" The shadow took shape and a black hooded figure with the staff all the F.E.A.R agents use. He through a folder at my feet with a bag of coins. "We want you to exterminate a particular pain in our ass"
I picked up the folder and flipped through it quickly scanning for key words and a picture of a young white male with black hair and black paint on his face.
I put the folder down and told the guy I'll think about after I finish this mission. I picked up Kirsty, the name of my prized sniper rifle. She is a DSR 50, A modified bolt action sniper with a carbon fiber finish that I got with the reward for my first big kill. She was my baby and one of the few things I'd put my trust in.
I gaze down the sight to view my first shot and I could see a headless corpse with blood and brain splattered all over the wall he was leaning against. Mission Successful with a single shot. Of course the base has become alert and I need to get moving before they find me.
My new compainion and I leave via my primary escape route that I picked out before the shot. As we run I cant help but eye this mystierous man next to me, who is pracctically gliding along as if he isnt really there.
