The Ladies Man

It was Halloween and I walked into Ashley’s house and was hit with the smell of pizza. I made my way to the kitchen to see Ashley standing in front of the oven.
“Hey.” I said.
“Hi Belle.” He turned to me, and gave me a kiss.
“So, shall we start our movie night?” I asked.
“Definitely.” He grabbed some pizza for us and we went into his living room. I put in Dracula, the 1958 version with Christopher Lee as Dracula.
About twenty minutes into the movie, Ashley asked. “Isn’t Harker supposed to be the hero?”
“Usually, I like what they do with him in this film way better. I never liked him.” I replied.
“Let me guess, you like Dracula the best.” He said with a knowing smile.
“Yup, in all the Dracula films I’ve seen, I’ve only seen it done badly once. I love Christopher Lee though, he’s my favourite.”
Once the movie was over I took it out and put in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Then I went back to the couch and cuddled up to Ashley.
“Why’d you pick this one?” He asked.
“Cause of all the 80s horror villains, he’s the best. He actually talks, and he has a good reason for killing all the stupid teenagers.” I said.
He laughed. “That’s a little sadistic, you know.”
I smiled and rubbed my hands together maniacally. “I have a little sadist who lives in my head. Teehee.”
After the movie was over we went up to his bedroom. I had spent a couple of nights here since last week, so I had some clothes here now so that I wouldn’t have to steal his. After changing I climbed into bed next to him and he wrapped his arms around me.
Night.” I yawned and laid my head on his chest.
“Night Belle.” He said.

The next night Ashley decided he wanted to take me out to a club again. I thought it was a great idea. I never got out enough, and spending time with Ashley was making me more social.
We got to the club and I spotted Madison out on the dance floor.
“I’m gonna go talk to Madison for a bit.” I said.
“Okay, I’ll just be at the bar having a drink.” He replied. He kissed my cheek and walked away.
“Madison!” I yelled as I made my way through the crowd.
“Belle! What are you doing here?” She asked.
“I came with Ashley.” I pointed in the direction of the bar.
“Nice. I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” She complained.
I gave her shoulder a slight shove. “You saw me yesterday.”
“Yeah, but you spend so much time with Ashley now.”
“He’s my boyfriend I’m supposed to spend time with him. Besides, I live with you remember?”
“I know. Sometimes I miss the days when you didn’t have a social life.”
I laughed. “You were the one who pushed me to go out with him in the first place!”
“Oh yeah, I take full credit for any and all happiness that you may have.” She said with a grin.
“Okay, well, I’m going to get a drink. Want to join?”
“Yes please.” We made our way over to the bar to find Ashley. What I saw shocked me to my core. Ashley was standing at the bar with some slutty looking blond draped over him. What shocked me even more was what I heard him say.
“Get off of me! Can’t you take no for an answer?” He said angrily.
This was possibly the best moment in our relationship so far. I knew he hadn’t been sleeping around, but to see it myself was amazing. The girl was still stuck to his side like glue; so I decided to intervene, she was pissing me off.
“Excuse me.” I tapped her on the shoulder.
She turned to look at me. “Go away, can’t you see I’m busy here?” She said in a really snotty tone. God I hated girls like her.
“Yeah, busy with my boyfriend. Now get lost.” I gave her the most powerful glare I could muster.
“God, you’re such a bitch.” She said as she untangled herself from Ashley.
“What did you just call me?” I yelled at her as she walked away. I looked over at Ashley who looked like a deer in headlights.
“Belle, I swear, nothing happened.” He was panicking, it was so cute.
“It’s all right Ashley. I know.” I kissed him. “Come on, let’s go back to your place.” I started pulling him towards the door.
“You don’t want me to take you home?” He asked.
“Nope, I have a better idea.”
