Car Crashes and Saviours.

Michelle's POV
I woke up in a cold sweat and tears going down my face from the nightmare I just had. I felt a strange warmth on my bed and looked down.... Being 14 this doesn't normally happen. I had an accident. Fuck.... I got up and change out of my urine stained pajamas and took a shower. Once I showered and changed I took off my sheets and blanket and took them downstairs into the laundry room. I stuck everything in the washer and started it. I then went and laid on the couch and looked at the clock. 3 o'clock in the morning. I turned over facingthe back of the couch and pulled the blanket that was hung on it down accross my body. Soon enough I fell back asleep into a dark nightmare free slumber. A few hours later I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder. I turned around and looked up to see Dad."What?" I asked. "What are you doing sleeping down here?" He asked. I looked down in embaresment. "I don't want to talk about it." I said. He sat down beside me. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing." I said. "Dowsit hve something to do with your sheets and blanket being in the washer waiting to be dried?" He asked. I gasped. Shit. I forgot those were in there. I got up and went into the laundry room and put my things into the dryer puting it on the lowest setting when I heard footsteps stop in the door way. I looked over and saw Dad again. "What happened? I saw your mattress Sweetheart." He said. I looked down tears of embaresment welling in my eyes and spillingover onto my face. "Was it another nightmare?" He asked. I nodded and leaned against the dryer. He came over and hugged me stroking my hair to calm me down. "It's okay. I understand. Hey look at me." He said pulling away. I kept my eyes on the ground until he gently pulled my face up to look at him while he wiped away my tears. "Everyone has accidents. It's nothing to be embaresed about." He said. I sniffled and leaned my head on his bare chest. "I'm 14 I'm not supposed to be wetting the bed." I said. "Hey, it's okay. It happens. And it wasn't your fault. You had a nightmare and you had an accident. That's all it was was an accident." He said stroking my head again. I nodded and wrapped my arms around him. "Do you have anything I can clean my mattress with?" I asked. "Yeah hang on." He said. He let go of me and opened the cupboard above the washer and pulled out some bleach, gloves, and a small sponge. He handed them to me and kissed my forehead. "Thanks." I said looking down. I left the laundry room and headed up to my bedroom. I looked at my mattressto seeit was dry so I put on the gloves and got some bleach on the sponge then began cleaning the mattress. About 3 hours later it was cleanand dried and I made my bed. I looked at the clock and saw it was 11 in the morning. I headed downstairs and returned the bleach and gloves to the right spot then went into the living room and sat down on the couch next to Dad. "So what are we doing today?" I asked. "Anything you want." He replied. "Well.... Can I get my hair cut and died? And get my lip and nose pierced?" I asked. "Nostril or septum?" He asked. "Septum." I replied. "I don't see why not. But after were done with that we have to get you registered for schooland go get you supplies." He said. I nodded and went upstairs and into my room. I put on some skinny jeans and a Riff Raff and Magenta (Rocky Horror Picture Show) shirt. After that I went into Alex's room. I walked to his bed and woke him up. I helped him put on some pants and a bvb shirt then we went downstairs to eat. Once we were done we got our shoes on and piled into the car. We got the the haircut place and I told them how I wanted it. When they were done I got to see it and it was perfect. Then we went to Hot Topic and got some bleach then red, blue, and black dye. Once done there we went to the piercer. "Hey I'm Josh how may I help you guys?" The guy at the counter asked. "Michie here wants some snake bites and her septum pierced." Dad said. "And I assume you're her father?" He asked. "Yup." Dad replied. "Okay, I'm gonna need you to fill out these forms and then we can get started." He said handing Dad the forms. He took them and we sat in the chairs.When he was done I took them to the desk and handed them back to Josh. "Okay let's get started. Pick out some lip rings here and your septum ring here." I said pointing to the shelves. I picked out matching rings. A red septum ring and red lip rings. When he got them he sat me down in the chair. "Okay nose or lip first?" Josh asked. "Nose." I said. "Alright." He opened a drawer and grabbed some cotton swabs 3 needles and a couple of bottles. He cleaned the inside of my nose and got the needle ready. "Okay take in a deep breath." He said. I took in the breath and when he sent the needle through he told me to release it. I looped the ring into my nose and put the ball on it. Next we took a wipe and wiiped the outside of my lip. Then he opened one of the bottles. He took the lid of and it had a brush on it. He brushed the outside of my bottomlip then wipe off the orange substance. He then took the other bottle and sprayed the inside of my mouth. It wasn't too bad seeing as it had a minty taste. "Okay so we've sterilized your entire mouth now I'm just gonna mark where the piercings will go." he said. He pulled out a marker and put two dots on my lip. He held up a mirror to me and asked if tht was okay. I nodded and he grabbed on of the two needles left. He opened the package and told me to do the same breathing as I did with my nose. Once that was done he did the other side the same way. Once my second lip ring was in he twisted the ball on and cleaned up the area then walked me back out front. "Okay so being as you got 2 peircings today and today is our buy one get one free day, the snake bites are free so that will be... 45.87 please." He said. Dad puled out his wallet and gave Josh 70. "Keep the change dude. You did a great job! Do you do tats?" He said. "Um yeah I cando one soon if you'd like." Josh replied. "Cool. Is tomorrow okay?" Dad asked. Josh nodded and gave me a bag. "Here's the sanitizing spray. Use it 3 to 5 times a day and if you smoke or anything make sure you use mouth wash." He said. "Oh trust me I'msure I'd get my ass kicked if I smoked. Thanks Josh." I said. I grabbed one of the stores cards off the counter and put it in my wallet. "No problem kiddo." He replied smiling. We finally left the store and headed out to the car. When we got home I went upstairs and grabbed a crappy shirt then grabbed the dye and met Dad in the kitchen. "Okay, let's get this show on the road." I said. I heard him chuckle an he opened the boxes. "How do you want this done?" He asked. "Umm. I want it all black but my tips blue and my bangs red." I replied. 3 hours later my hair was done and it looked AWESOME!! After I showered and changed we piled back into the car and went to get me registered for school. We pulled up to the school and gotout then went inside to the office then walked up to the desk lady. "Hi how may I help you?" Shou asked. "Hi my name is Ashley purdy and these are my kids Michelle and Alex Purdy. I'd like to get Michelle enroled if that is possible." Dad said. She nodded her head and gave Dad a packet. "Fill these forms out and bring them back tomorrow. When will she start attending?" The lady asked. "I'd like to let her get used to being with me before she starts so I'd say about a week." He replied. "I don't mean to be nosy but why do you say you want to give her some time to get used to being with you Mr. Purdy?" She asked. "I just adopted her and her brother a couple days ago and I'd like her to get settled before she has to begin going to school." Dad replied. "Ah. That is a very amazing thing of you to do Mr. Purdy." She said smiling. "Thank you. Now we have to get going. I'll bring these back aat around 10 o'clock tomorrow morning." Dad replied walking out with us. We went home and were so exausted that we all fell asleep on the couch. Dad leaning and the arm rest, me leaning on Dad while his arm was around me, and Alex fell asleep in my lap.
