Sunlight Burns
Chapter 2
CC's P.O.V.
As I was running I feared that she was right behind me. Soon I was back at the bus and, my heart was pounding against my rib cage. The guys arrived a couple minutes later. Andy and Jinxx were holding a drunk Ashley. When they see my face Jinxx asks, "Are you okay man?" Jake adds in, "You look like you've seen a ghost." I would tell them what happened but they would think I was crazy. I reply, "I'm fine guys, just tired." They didn't look convinced but they didn't push it. After I showered I crawled into my bunk hoping sleep would take me. So many questions were going through my head like, 'Who was she?' 'How was she so strong and fast?' More importantly 'Why did she attack me then let me go?'
Davey's P.O.V.
I sat in my study waiting for Helena to get home. Every time she goes out hunting I worry about her. I love her like a daughter. Finally I see her walk past and I say, "Helena come here." She comes in and says, "Yes?" I ask, "How did it go tonight?" She says, "Fine. You find a human, bite their neck, the usual." There was something she wasn't telling me but, I'm not gonna press the issue. She asks, "Is that it?" I nod and say, "Yes. You may go now." She leaves and I wonder what it is she could possibly be hiding. It's not that I don't trust her I just don't want her to do anything reckless. She has always been a little on the wild side she's a rebel. I remember training her and she was so stubborn always wanting to do things her way. Sometimes it's hard to believe I created her 2 centuries ago. No matter what she will always have a special pace in my heart.
Helena's P.O.V.
I couldn't tell Davey that I let a victim go. I still can't understand why I did in the first place. Why couldn't I stop thinking about him? What if he tells someone what he saw? Maybe I'm just over thinking this. Chances are we won't see each other again anyway. I never hunt in the same area twice. Sometimes I kind of feel sad that this is what I am. I remember the night Davey found me and I was created.

*Flashback*
I was walking home from a party. It wasn't too far from my house. I decided to take a shortcut through an alley. I was walking and I heard some guys laughing and saw that they were most likely drunk. I walk past them and one asks, "Hey baby where are you going?" I just keep walking and one of them is in front of me. He gets right in my face I can smell the alcohol on his breath as he says, "Come on. Let's have some fun." I say, "No way." The other grabs my arm and I slap him in the face. He growls, "You're gonna pay for that bitch" The other guy knocks me over the head with a glass bottle and I fall to the ground. They then rip my dress and both of them take turns on me. When they were done they just left me there naked, bleeding, and dying. I was almost dead when a figure, Davey approached me and said, "Your life is fading. If you accept my offer you can have a new life." I say, "Yes." He cuts his wrist and makes me drink. I feel and indescribable pain shoot through me. I scream in agony and Davey says, "The pain will soon stop love. It's just your body dying." A few minutes later the pain stops. I stand up and Davey says, "Welcome the dark side. Now let's find you some clothes." I followed him into the night.

Then I smirk to myself thinking how I got my revenge on them by tearing their limbs from their bodies and draining them dry. I then change into a silk nightgown and crawl into my bed falling into a peaceful sleep.
