I Would Die For You

Jasey and I laid in our bed in the hotel. Her head was on my chest and her hand was locked in mine. I twisted her rings around her finger and kept my eyes locked on the TV in front of me. We were so tired from the parks we decided to stay in until tonight since it was New Year's.

We were watching some TV show about Swamp's because they fascinated Jasey but I was bored. "Let's watch a movie, I brought some."

"Not. Batman." She groaned, looking up at me. I chuckled.

"Then what?" I asked.

"Uh, Sweeney Todd." She grinned and I smiled at her.

"Okay." I said, jumping up and taking the DVD out of my bag. I popped it in the player and then got back in bed. Jasey immediately burrowed into my side and laid her head on my chest. I pressed play on the remote and soon enough we found ourselves invested in the movie.

It it seemed like hours before either of us spoke but it must have only been a few minutes or so. "I can't believe Sandra didn't come to out wedding." Jasey whispered. I looked down at her to see tears in her eyes.

"I know." I sighed.

"All of them for that matter." She said.

"They're jerks, Jay. I shudder to think what would have happened of we hadn't gotten away from them." I said, taking her hand and playing with her rings again.

"It just upsets me.." She shook her head.

"It's upsets me too. Do you think they even know about Dani?" I asked.

"They're still in school, right? I'm sure the faculty told them or it spread around." She said.

"Yeah." I shrugged.

"I miss her, Andy. More than I ever thought would be possible." She said, pushing back tears. I rubbed her back and kissed between her eyes.

"Me too. But she is in a better place." I said.

"I feel like my parents are drowning." She said. "They have no one to take care of anymore."

"When we have kids they'll be so happy." I said, trying to lighten the mood.

"That's true." She smirked, softly.

"Not anytime soon, correct?" I laughed.

"Oh yeah, no. I don't want kids yet." She chuckled. I looked back up at the TV and sighed.

"That's going to be hard. Touring and shit with a kid.." I shook my head.

"Well I just won't come, I'll have to take care of our child." She said.

"That'll be torture." I said, kissing her cheek.

"I know."
