I Would Die For You

We were at the last table. It was a few of our cousins and friends we put together because they didn't know anyone else. "Hey guys!" I said leaning into hug my cousin, Helen, as Jasey hugged her fourth cousin or something.

"Hey, Helen." I said, smiling. Her husband Danny was sitting next to her and two of Jay's cousins along with their wives.

"Congrats, Andy, never thought I'd see the day." She chuckled. Danny nodded at me and shook my hand. "Let me meet the lucky girl." I grabbed her hand.

"Babe." I said, and she turned her head. "This is my cousin Helen and her husband Danny." She smiled and waved.

"I'm Jasey." She said, shaking both of their hands.

"Nice to meet you. Your very beautiful." Helen smiled.

"Thank you." Jasey said. I kissed her cheek and turned to her cousins. I recognized them from the Christmas party. It was Clay and his wife, and Jake and his.

"Hey man." Clay said, nodding.

"Hey." I smiled.

"Congratulations!" Jake said.

"Thanks." I smiled. I felt a tap on my shoulder and Jasey and I turned around. It was my mom.

"You two need to eat." She said, guiding us away from the table and towards our own.

"Mom, we have to talk to everyone!" I said, chuckling as we sat down. Our food was in front of our seats.

"You already have, now relax. This is your day. If people want to talk they can come up to you." She said, walking back to her table. Lauren and Ashley smiled at us.

"Well Hello." Lauren said. "Tired?"

"Yes!" Jasey exclaimed, throwing her head on my shoulder. I took a sip of the wine in front of me and sighed.

"Well eat. The nights not even half over!" Ashley chuckled. We both nodded and started eating, slowly.
