I Would Die For You

I peeked around the corner of the stage seeing the crowd was decently large. We were now a month into the tour, and currently playing a show in Germany. The crowds didn't seem to love us honestly. They weren't here to see us. They were here to see Asking Alexandria, and Escape The Fate. Us and another band named Get Scared who only had an Ep out were booed almost every night.

Jasey was in the dressing room hanging out with the guys. I kept reliving our fight over and over. We barely get into any, so why did our first real one have to be over something so stupid?

We were acting like it never happened, though, but I felt more distant from her recently. Usually we never leave each other's side, but it happens more and more frequently. I sighed, and walked into the dressing room.

Jasey was sitting on the couch, playing with her phone. She had a smile on her face so I leaned over her shoulder, and looked at the screen.

"What's up butter cup?" I said, grinning at her.

"Texting Lauren, where have you been?" She asked, pecking my lips. I hopped over the back of the couch, and slid my arm around her shoulders.

"Backstage, the crowd is really big!" I exclaimed.

"That's exciting!" She said, smiling.

"I'm scared." I confessed, and she snuggled deeper into my chest.

"Why? You've performed to so many different crowds, it's okay, I'll be side stage the whole time." She kissed my cheek.

"I love you. You know that right?" I bit my lip ring.

"Of course babe. Why do you say that?" She raised her eyebrow.

"I still feel really bad about the whole fight thing." I sighed, resting my cheek against her head.

"Sweetheart, that was weeks ago! I'm not angry, I wasn't mad as soon as you apologized. Is that why you've been acting so strange?" She said, poking her bottom lip out.

I shrugged, "It just bugs me. We never fight."

"It was bound to happen sometime, love." She said, kissing my neck.

"I know." I said.

"Okay, love birds. We have show to do." Jake said, ruffling our hair. We both giggled, and I smooshed my nose against hers. I stood up, pulling Jasey with me, and followed the guys back stage. I jumped up and down with Jasey, our hands clasped.

"You two are so silly." Jinxx laughed at us. I grinned cheekily, and leaned against the wall with Jasey in my arms.

"Black Veil Brides your on." The stage manager said. I let out a scared sigh, and kissed Jasey while CC ran on, then Jinxx, Ashley, Jake, and finally I broke our kiss then ran out. There were a few cheers from the crowd, but not many.

"Hello, we are The Black Veil Brides, and were going to play some songs for you tonight. This is Heavens Calling." The music started playing, and I roamed the stage. Every so often looking over at Jasey. Some of the people in the crowd sang along but most just stared blankly at us.

The show went on like that, kind of low energy but we still gave it our all. By the second to last song I decided I wanted to play something special for Jasey. I looked at Jake, and walked over to him.

"Will you get your acoustic guitar? Morticians Daughter." I whispered. He nodded, and whispered something to Jinxx. They both walked back and Jake grabbed his guitar and Jinxx had his violin. "Alright guys for our next song, were going to slow it down. I'd like to invite my fiancé out on stage with me while I sing this."

Jasey chuckled, and walked out. Some people let out 'awh's' but most stared blankly again. I sat on a stool, and pulled her onto my lap. I wrapped my arms tightly around her waist, and rocked her back and forth as the music started playing. She was smiling widely.

I sang over her shoulder, and every so often kissed her cheek. When we finished, she waved to the crowd and walked off. We sang Knives and Pens as our last song, and finished the show off.

"That was great." Jasey said as we walked back to the dressing room hand in hand.

"Thanks babe." I kissed her quickly.
