I Would Die For You

"No!?!?" Jasey exclaimed, as she took a sip of her water.

"Yep. I played hockey my entire life, then I decided music is what I wanted to do." I chuckled.

"Were you good?" She asked.

"I think so, which probably means no." I said smiling at her. Our waiter came by, and dropped the check off. I slid my card inside of it, and returned my gaze back to Jasey.

"We should go ice skating sometime." She said, grabbing my hand across the table.

"I would love that." I said, rubbing her knuckles. "So.." I trailed off, spinning her rings around her tiny finger.

"So?" She raised her eyebrow.

"When are we getting married?" I bit my lip ring.

She giggled, "I was planning, but then we went on tour.."

"We can plan together on tour." I said.

"You want too?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Of course." I said.

"Okay. I've already figured out bridesmaids, I want Lauren Wilhelm, and Sandra." She looked down, and tears pricked to her eyes.

"I'm sorry Dani can't be in it." I said, and she glanced back up at me.

"It's okay." She said, trying to smile, but ultimately failing.

"How about your dress?" I asked.

"I don't know yet, I have to figure that out still." She sighed.

"Alright. Thought of any places you want it to be?" I smiled.

"Back I'm Ohio since that's where we met." She said, and her eyes widened. "Would it be incredibly morbid if we had it at the cemetary?"

"Uhm yes." I chuckled.

"Well I was just wondering." She held her hands up.

"There is a place near there, it's like a botanical gardens. That would be nice." I suggested.

"That would be nice!" She exclaimed, "Maybe, we could take pictures at the cemetary."

"That's perfect!" I smiled. The waiter grabbed our check, and walked away.

"So I was thinking maybe we could get planning done around October and maybe set the date for the wedding around December?" She said.

"Yeah that sounds good. Gives me time to record, and for you to dance." The waiter came back, and set the check down.

"Thank you have a good night." He said.

"You too." I said, as Jasey and I stood up. The walk back to the hotel went by quick, since I knew what I had planned. The women at the desk sent a smirk in our direction as we walked in.

"Have fun." She smiled.

Jasey made a face, as I smiled back at her, "What was that all about?"

"You'll see." I smirked, as we rode the elevator up to our room. We got off, and walked down the hall. I pushed the key into the door, and opened up, smiling as I saw the flickering glow of candles. Jasey's breath hitched in her throat, as I pushed her in the room before me.

There were rose petals scattered all over the bed. Candles lit all over the room, choclates on the pillows, and my lone guitar leaning on the edge of the bed. A small gift box rested on Jasey's pillow.

I started massaging her shoulders, and kissed her neck. "Happy anniversary, Jasey."
