I Would Die For You

"God damnit! There has to be fucking roses at her funeral! It was her favorite flower!" Jasey screamed into her phone. I was seated on her parents couch, as she paced angrily around the room. I grabbed her waist, and pulled her onto my lap. "No not sunflowers, roses." I kissed behind her ear, and brushed a piece of hair back. "You don't understand everything has to be perfect. This is the one of the only things my mother put me in charge of, and I have to get it right." Tears started forming in her eyes, and I squeezed her tighter. "Okay, thank you." Jasey shut her phone, and sighed shakily.

She buried her head in my chest, and I stroked her hair, rocking her back and forth.

"Babe, stop stressing." I said. Her mother had completely taken control of funeral arrangements, and Jasey was pissed about it. She gave her two jobs, to arrange the flowers and to do something special for her sister. Jasey wouldn't tell me what she was doing yet, but I knew it must have been good.

It had been three days after Danielle's passing, and the funeral is tomorrow. Jasey, and I decided to tell immediate family and freinds about the engagement, but nobody else, especially not the fans.

They'd go crazy if they found out, and we weren't planning on having the wedding any time soon, so what was the point? We decided to tell them when we actually start planning the wedding.

I hated seeing Jasey so broken, and tired. The only time she smiled is when I get her too, or she looks down at her ring. I couldn't possibly begin to imagine what she is going through. It has to be terrible losing a sibling.

Colin was taking it the worst out of everyone. Jasey, and I tried to meet up with him several times in the past few days, and everytime he said no. His parents say he is just sitting in his room alone, listening to Far From Home by Five Finger Death Punch.

I don't want him to do something he will regret...

"My mother is so irritating! She won't let me do anything, Andy. She was my sister, and I want to help!" Jasey sobbed into my chest.

"I know." I said looking over my shoulder, worried Anne might walk in, but then remembered she was at the funeral home, again.

"I'm trying so hard not to be sad, but it's impossible. I loved Dani so much." Jasey shook her head.

"I understand, angel, but your mother just wants the funeral to be perfect. Don't be angry with her, she lost someone too." I said, and she pulled away.

"I know, it's just hard to keep remembering that I'm not the only one who lost Dani." She said, tears still falling down her face. I reached up, and wiped them away.

"It will get easier, you'll be able to move on. The wounds are still fresh, give them time to heal." She smiled softly, an nodded.

"When did you get so wise?" She inquired, raising an eyebrow.

"I've always been wise, I'm Batman." I said plainly. She giggled.

"Does that mean I'm Cat woman?" She asked placing her hands on my shoulders.

"Definitely." I said mimicking Batmans voice. She growled, and clawed at my face like a cat. We both laughed, and she playfully pushed me back on the couch.

Her plush lips connected with my rougher ones, and her right hand tangled with mine. She bit my piercing, and growled again. I smiled against her mouth, and placed my free hand on her cheek, rubbing circles on her smooth skin.

"I love you." I said as she pulled away.

"I love you too." She laid her head on my chest, and patted my stomach. "Now I have to go work on something."

I groaned, "Where are you going?"

"It's for the funeral, and it's a suprise." She said grinning.

I sighed, "Alright." Her feet pounded on the stairs.

She had been doing this ever since we set the date for the funeral. I couldn't help but wonder what she had hiding up her sleeve.
