Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Ivy's POV
I stood there awkwardly watching Andy and Ashley hug. It occurred to me for a strange moment that they would be a cute gay couple. Wait what? What the heck was I thinking, I mentally face palmed for having those thoughts. I looked again and Ash was staring at me from over Andy's shoulder while they were hugging. I felt myself blush, but his expression was unreadable. It could have been complete moment of him looking at me and trying to figure out who the heck I was. I didn't have much time to think about it because Juliet tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention. When I looked up she was beckoning me over to her, where the rest of the band was greeting who I quickly learned to be Sandra.
"Hey, Sandra. This is the newest member of our pack, Ivy," Juliet introduced us. I shook Sandra's hand. She was small, I mean tiny. Like I was short, but I towered over her. Not to mention her standing next to CC like she was at that time, she looked absolutely minuscule. Also had I not known any better I would have thought that she was a guy. Like once I got talking to her and stuff it was obvious that she was a girl but passing her on the street I would've thought that she was of the male gender. She was very pretty, in her own special way that I couldn't really explain. I mean I liked guys but I found myself finding her oddly attractive, maybe it was because she looked like a guy, who knows. Finally everyone's happy reunion was broken up by John and some random chubby guy that I didn't know.
"Hey guys we'd like to get you to the house, you can have the day to catch up, we won't do anything until tomorrow so that you all can have the day to talk stuff through," John said. He began leading us up the path towards the mansion that was on the island. When I say mansion, I mean MANSION, the place was huge, and beautiful. John lead us inside where we found our bags waiting for us in a large living room. Everyone was silent as we took a look around.
"Make yourselves at home," John said as he started to leave.
"Wait, this place is all ours?" Andy said turning around and looking at John shocked.
"Yeah man, we want you to be comfortable," John said and then he left. The living room in itself was big enough for all of us to st comfortably. So that's what we did. pulled the chairs close and we all sat down. Everyone started talking at once. Multiple conversations going on going on. I wasn't involved in any of them, I was just kind of listening. I can't tell you all that I heard, it was just a whole big jumble of people talking. Eventually the sun started to go down, and I was starting to get kind of bored. Someone had gone and located a bunch of snack food and brought it back to the circle, along with some alcoholic beverages. So me being the only under-aged person in the room, I was also the only one not drinking. Not that everyone else was really getting drunk, except for maybe CC a little bit. I was just left there, not really talking, and eating some Pretzels. I was zoning out when I noticed that someone sat down next to me. I looked up and it was Sandra.
"Hey, I wanna talk to you," She said quietly, "Would it make you uncomfortable to come and take a walk with me?"
"I don't mind," I said. I needed to get some air anyway, it was starting to get really hot and stuffy in that room. We got up together and nobody really noticed except for Jinxx who just looked up for a minute and then went back to his conversation. I took a brief glance around the room to see if I could make eye contact with Andy but I didn't see him there. Come to think of it I didn't see Ashley either. I didn't pay much attention though I just followed Sandra out of a sliding glass door in the living room and right out onto a beach.

Hey guys sorry if this is short, it took me like two hours to write just this. I don't know why but I was just really distracted. Anyway, that description of Sandra at the beginning of the chapter is actually how I see her, and it wasn't at all meant to be mean or anything.
