Chrissie POV

1 Month Later

I havent talked to Andy in a month except I dont fucking care. Well at least I think I dont.

I still think about Trenton, but I just met him once, it was gonna be hard to see him again.

After teasing my hair, I finish up my makeup and get my work uniform on.

I work at a porn store downtown (yes I know it's strange for a virgin to work at a sex store).

My fingers were shaking on the steering wheel from lack of caffeine. I knew I shouldve ate today. Oh well.

I stopped the engine when my car aproached the "Private Pleasures" sign.

"Hey Lenny." I mumbled.

"Hello Girlie." My gay boss answered back

I set my backpack in the backroom, looking for my visor that I left here on the counter my last shift.

I walked up behind the register and gave a thumbs up to Lenny to open the doors.

4 and a half Hours Later
I have a half hour left of work and I am so tired.

Today was busy day because a lot of people come in on Thursdays to get things for Friday.

A group of six boys who have a good taste in clothes (wink wink) huddled around one tall boy in the middle except I couldnt see his face.

"Come on, Trent!"

"No guys I never been to one of these and Im not going just because my birthday's tommorow."

I sat with the familiarness of his voice churning in my head.

"Get something, Trenton!" One guy shouts while turning to the movie section, the rest of the guys following him.

Trenton walks up awkwardly and looks at the clear counter in front of me where the lighters are.

He looks up at me and stares intently.

"Chrysanthemum, right?"

"Oh god dont call me that." I point to my name tag that says 'Chrissie' on it.

He giggles lightly. His laugh is so perfect.

"See anything you like?"

"I think I'll have that one." He points to the one with Bob Marley on it and I take the keyring hooked to my belt loop to open up the glass case.

I scan the item and punch in my employees discount number when he isnt looking.

"$5.68"

"I thought it was $10.00"

"It was." I winked.

He whispered,"Thank you."
"I was wondering..."He started off, but I handed him his lighter and our hands touched.

"You have really pretty eyes." He whispered.

I smile when he shakes his head and tries to blink himself back into the topic we were talking about.

"So I was wondering..." He slid his thumb up against the metal wheel and held it on the back button causing the lighter ignite.

"Trenton." I snap him back into reality.

"Oh sorry. A.D.D."

I nod and smile at him to continue.

"Can I maybe have your num-"

"Dont you have a girlfriend?" I cut him off.

"Maggie and I broke up a month ago." He looked down.

"Sorry." I always fuck things up.
"And yes you can have my number."

He looked up and smiled at me.

By the time we exchange numbers, his pig friends walk up with 5 lesbian movies per guy.


"Oh god." I whisper.

Trenton face palms.
