A girls secret

I was trying so hard not to kiss Andy. I knew I shouldn't have looked at him as I said what I did but, me being the idiot I am, I did. Change the subject before you kiss those adorable...soft looking....kissable, perfect lips. Stop thing about it!

"Oh...uh...whens the party?" Smooth, Alex smooth.

"About an hour."

"That early?" Andy looked at me concered.

"Dude, its like six o'clock P.M." Oh. Well I guess that made sense, considering I had been up all night trying to finish my novel. It still isn’t done. (Pissed off face)

“Yeah. Knew that. Just thought it was twelve hours earlier.”

“Were you sleeping all day?”


“Late night. I had a date with a still unfinished novel.”

“Ahh.” The guys quickly learned how serious I was about my writing and how I will stay up for days if I have to.

“Yup. Do you need any help getting things ready?”

“Nah. CC’s bringing drinks, the house is clean, and there is plenty of room for people to pass out drunk. Unlike some people, I do get up at a normal time.” He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.

“Being an author has its downfalls. For instance, my deadline for this novel is one week, and I still have to finish the main conflict and make it so that the main character can finally come to terms with who she is.”

“Oh? What’s the story about?” I squirmed.

“A girl who has two sides and both sides want to be the dominate side. She ends up falling in love, when she doesn’t even want to. The guy doesn’t accept her who she is when he finds out, and I have to see if he takes her back or not.” He looked at me confused.

“You have to see?” I nodded.

“When I write, it’s like the story takes over.” I closed my eyes. “I know the beginning, but I never know the end. It’s as if I’m reading it myself, not writing it.”

“Wow.” I opened my eyes and looked at Andy. He looked amazed. I smiled, and then looked at the time.

“Shit. I better get ready. You should to.”

“Yeah. See you later, man.” We brohugged (I learned quickly not to just hug a guy or else its weird) and he went back to his own place. I unlocked my phone and texted CC as I got my outfit ready.

Me: Dude. Water down some drinks.

I pulled on my shirt, I decided to go with a red shirt and black skinny jeans. My phone went off.

CC: Umm…ok?

CC: Why?

I laughed.

Me: So we can prank Andy.

I put my phone down again and put on my jeans grabbed a pair of sneakers. Converse are my most favorite kind, but, in this case, I was wearing Vans. My phone went off again as I checked the time to see if I could possibly put in some temporary dye. And I can. I might be a little late, though.

CC: Cool.

CC: …want to tell me how?

This guy has no patience whatsoever.

Me: Drinking contest, only whoever is going against him their drinks are watered down. His won’t be, and, soon enough, he will be drunk off his ass. We can make him do whatever we want at that point *rubs hands evilly*

I put my phone down and decided on a color. Hmmm…blue? Yeah just blue streaks though. My phone went off as I grabbed the temporary dye from my shelf.

CC: Good idea. Just warning you, it won’t taste all that good.

Me: I know. Tried to convince my parents I was an alcoholic. Worked perfectly XD.

I got the dye ready to go before my phone went off again.

CC:Your poor parents. I have to get ready. See you there.

Me: Yup. My parents hated me XD and so do I see ya.

I put the streaks in my hair and when it was done I checked my phone again. CC had blown it up to ask where I was. I laughed and grabbed my keys before locking the door and walking across to Andy’s house. I was about to knock on the door when my phone went off. CC again. I chuckled and answered it.

“Hey. It’s Alex. If you don’t know who I am, just hang the fuck up asshole. Anyway leave me a message.”

“Not again. Geez Alex learn to answer your God damn phone.” I burst out laughing.
“Wait…you asshole.”

“I’m…sorry…CC…I…couldn’t…help…myself…” I gasped out between laughter.

“Sorry ain’t gunna cut it. Where are you?”

“Open the damn door and see.” I heard footsteps come to the door and CC was soon standing in the open doorway.

“Oh. Hey. Nice hair.”

“Yeah. It’s what took me so long.” I walked in and sat next to Andy on the couch after CC joined the Truth or Dare circle again.

“Your late.” I groaned.

“I know, I know. Last minute hair idea.” He took it in and nodded.

“Nice.”

“Thanks.” I started to tap out the beat on my knee. “Andy?” He looked at me sideways.

“Yeah?”

“Wanna have a drinking contest?” He shrugged.

“Sure. Why not?” by this time the Truth or dare game was over I guess ‘cause CC walked over to us.

“Hey, CC. Wanna judge a drinking contest for us?”

“Sure.” We all walked out to the kitchen and CC poured Andy and I shots. We downed shot after shot until Andy face planted the counter. CC and I high fived.

“Worked like a charm.”

“You BVB people are crazy.” I turned around to see…Dahvie fucking Vanity. Oh. My. Fucking. God. This guy was fucking awesome!

“Oh yeah. Dahvie, Alex, Alex, Dahvie. We met Alex at the meet and greet and he is an awesome pranking buddy, so I keep him around. I rolled my eyes.

“Glad that’s the only reason, CC.” Suddenly I felt an arm sling over my shoulder.

“See? I told you you would meet Dahvie,” Andy slurred. I sighed.

“Whose idea was this again?”

“Uh…yours.” I sighed again.

“Right. I got this. You guys go have fun.” CC and Dahvie said goodbye and left, and I sat half drug half walked Andy to the couch. “Come on, Andy, sit down. Yup, like that.” I sat sown next to him.

“You know…you don’t seem drunk at all.” I chuckled.

“CC and I planned this. My drinks were watered down.”

“Your smart. And funny. And attractive.” Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa…what now?

“Andy?” He looked into my eyes, and his blue ones seemed to stare into my soul.

“Your eyes…are amazing.” I felt the heat creep up my face, but I ignored it. “And you look even better when you blush.” I noticed he was leaning closer.

‘Oh God. Is he going to pass out on me?’ his face was inches from mine.

“I wanted to do this for a while now.” His lips suddenly pressed to mine. I felt my eyes close.

He was kissing me.

And I was kissing him back.
