Amber's POV

Each time I looked at him, I felt the same: fear, worry and sadness. I knew that he was in danger, it's weird but I can see it: it's like a light red blurring around him. But I still don't know why, and by who...
“Why did'nt you just ask?” I looked at Jack, Oh yeah... I sighed:
“Why are you always reading in my minds? It's unfair!
-Haha, I know... But seriously, why did'nt you just ask?
-You know?
-Yeah.
-Oh please Jack tell me!” I begged, he shook his head:
“Ask Dad about it, he'll explain way better than I could ever...” I sighed again. Let's go home faster then!

We arrived about 15min later, mum (yeah, I decided to call her mum as she is really nice to me) asked me how was the meeting, I explained her all then ask for dad: he was in the library. I almost ran to there, when I came in he looked up at me and smiled:
“By looking at your face I can see that you had a good day, and that the question finally came in your mind!” I was a bit surprised, but he used to be always right!
“Yes, I want to know who and why Andy is in danger.
-Ok, then I'll have to tell you the whole story: sit down” I did, both excited and afraid of what he was about to tell me.
“A long long time ago there was a king in Scandinavia, his name was Ivar of Waterford.
He had a son with his sister... Don't look so horrified they use to do such kind of things. A few months later the baby born and he died in a war in 1000. His sister, Agnes, wanted to save her baby so she fleed in France with her servant. Years later the mother died and the servant take him as his son for him to stay alive. Then the son, Ivar too, falled in love with a princess, but known as a servant's son they could'nt get married. But the princess loved him too, so they both decided to travel to England to hide themselves and have a happier life as the princess was supposed to marry a prince...
Some years later, they had a son: Johan. The servant was still there, so he cared the baby. Johan had pure royal blood but did'nt knew it. Then the princess' family founded them back years later because of the England's royal family. They killed them both because of the disgrace, but the servant took the baby and runaway with him. The royal family's wizards saw that there were a child, and the king ask them to kill him. They tried again and again, but they could'nt because of the fact that the baby had royal blood. The wizards' chief, and the most evil, Charles, decided that he could'nt live with a defeat in his life, sending his own life for the biggest curse ever. He turned into a monster, anger in his heart he started researching the child. But thank to the servant he never found him.
Generation after generation, the wizard was looking all around the world, killing all the descandants of Johan. When he turned into a monster he was 24, so he decided that to revenge his shame of defeating, he had to kill them all before they get to 24. He turned into a Minotor: a mythological monster, that kills easily and without any feelings.
The sad fact is that Andy... Is on his list, and he is 23.”

I was on shock! It means that it remains less than one year for me to prepare myself? That if I let the fear control me he'll be dead? Oh my God no!!

“It seems like you finally realize what weight is actually on your shoulders?
-Y... Yes, but, how could I defeat him? It's been like 1000 years he's killing and getting stronger, when I know about my powers since only 3months!!
-The minotor has only one weak point: his eyes. They are really close to his brain, his skin is as hard as rock so it's the only way to kill him. Oh! And by the way he is about 3 meters high...
-Whaaat? But how can he hide in everyday life? And how could I reach to his eyes when I'm only 1m60 (5ft3)?
-Haha! Don't get afraid, he can turn into a human in everyday life, and don't forget that you can actually fly!
-And what about if he just eat me?
-Don't forget that your skin can get hard too. Your only weak point is your heart. Not only talking about your feelings... Your skin is weaker there and if your heart get hurt you'll die.” He said his face looking sad.
“How can you know all of that? It's not in history books or even on internet!
-That's because the king's servant... Was my grandfather.”

I was scared, not for me: For andy, he's about to die but does'nt know it and lives his life happily. I have to kill this monster! I don't care about dying, because Andy does'nt love me back, and because if he die... Life would'nt worth living anymore.
