Dawn's POV
I heard Angel and Daniel walking to Charles, they were probably verifying if he was dead or if there was a last bullshit. But I couldn't focus on it now. The most important at this moment was Micheal. My beloved husband. My soul mate! I saw him laying on the floor, a puddle of blood around him. I ran to him and lifted his head up, he was still breathing! I kissed him passionately, no matter if he could feel it or not! I loved him more than everything! My bloody-eyed man! I kissed him again and again. Until I felt him kissing me back!!! I was so happy! I hugged him, leaving his head on my chest.

I felt him smiling and teasing my breast... Okay! He was really alright now! I turned him around so that he wasn't facing the floor anymore. He looked at me, his deep red eyes looking so tired it was sad! He smiled at me warmly, making me remember of the first time he looked at me this way. Now my heart could beat normally again: he was okay. Then I went to check my children. Everyone was alive, even if Emily and Jack were half dead sleeping... But they were alive!

Amber's POV
I somehow stood up, feeling my ribs hurting my lungs. I felt someone helping me, it was Daniel. He was bleeding a lot, but he gave me a warm smile. I looked around, it was devastated, it wasn't raining anymore. But it looked like an after war scene. I saw Jack against a wall, his eyes were closed, his legs must have been broken by the way it was placed. Emily was unconscious, her cute face full of dirt and dried blood. Dad was half dead, his face against the floor. I hope he was only half dead... Mum was bleeding, her arms were covered in wounds. Andy... Where was Andy? I spin on my heels again and again until I saw him. He was lying on the floor, his head on a few rocks. He was alive, bleeding a bit. Yet alive! He was shocked, I could see it on his face. But when he saw me he smiled. He was finally safe!

The sun was already coming back. It was over. A new day, a new beginning? Daniel and I walked to the big smoke, it was slowly going away. Charles was lying on the floor, he looked extremely old. His hair were now all white and his face covered with wrinkles. He opened his eyes and looked at us. He gave us a really small smile then said:
“Th... Thank you. Now... I can die in peace. You... released... me... From all this anger. Thank you. You stopped this curse...” his voice was getting lower and lower, hardly breathing, but he kept talking:

“Now... I'll.. Finally die... My spirit... will... Go away. I'm... I'm sorry... I should never... had let my anger... control me! But I did... And I'm sorry. I'm... specially... Sorry for you... Angel... Now... It's too late...” What the fuck was he talking about? I saw Daniel closing his eyes, murmuring a 'repose in peace old man', then he stood back still helping me.

Charle's body faded away, turning into dust. I would never know what he meant? Too late for what? Andy was alive! Andy was -at least physically- well! So too late for what? I felt Andy hugging me, so I lay on his chest. He was now able to stand up meaning he was getting better from his shock. I was glad about it. I loved this guy so much, I think I could have died for him... Then I felt it. The pain in my chest. I looked down, to see a little hole... next to my heart.

A few hours later, Andy's POV
I slept for awhile, next to Angel. Micheal and Jack were deadly worried about her, but refused to tell me why! Emily was still sleeping, Dawn said she would sleep for a day or two. Dawn herself was looking really tired but kept taking care of every one... A real mother! Daniel was sleeping like his sister. Jack had his both legs broken, but kept an eye on Angel, even if he needed crutches! What was with her? I was getting worried too!

When Charles died she was kinda okay, then he told her something I couldn't understand. And a few hours later she fell in this coma, she was bleeding so much. Even now, there was still blood flooding on her chest. I took out her clothes, to see a hole. WHAT? But she was going to die! No! She couldn't die! Not now! Not her! Not meaning that I wanted one of them to die, but I wanted her to stay alive more than anyone else! I loved her, she was my soul mate, my little piece of heaven. I felt a tear running on my cheek, but didn't bother wiping it away. I didn't care, nothing was important if she was dead. Whatever could happen, it was fixable... But death?

I heard Micheal walking in the room. He was looking really sad. He turned to me and said:
“Andy. I have bad news.” I froze. What was he talking about? Please not about Angel! Everything but her!
“As you know, your girlfriend is a vampire EF. The strongest. But all EF share one weak point. This is their only weak point.” I felt he was going to tell me something bad... Really bad!
“This weak point is also the only way to kill them. And it's located at their heart. Angel... Angel have been hit on her heart...

Then he ran out of the room. He was crying. This. Man. Was. Crying! The always cold and smart Micheal. The 'father'. Was crying. I started to sob against her chest. I knew it! I knew something was wrong.
This bastard didn't kill me physically. He did even worse. He killed the one I loved the most. That's why they were so worried. I understood why Jack kept going even if he couldn't walk properly anymore.

And I understood it was...
