CC’s POV

“Is that really all you did? Kiss her like that then send her on her way?”

“Yeah, CC!! Why won’t you believe me?

“Because it’s YOU. Man whore Purdy, the slayer of all things woman.”

Seriously, can you blame me for having a hard time believing him?? Mr. I don’t want a serious relationship, Mr. if it has a pussy I’ll fuck it. He has to have it pretty bad for this chic for him to only kiss her on the first date.

Andy walks in and sees me grilling Ash, “What the hell is going on in here? Ash, what did you do? Or better Yet Who did you do?”

Ashley drops his hed down with an audible sigh “I was telling CC about the date I had yesterday, I….”

“Fucked her and ran??” Andy chimed in before Ash could finish, and I could see Ash getting seriously pissed.

“Nah dude, our little Ashley is growing up, he had a legit date, and only kissed the girl.”

Andy’s mouth dropped open in shock, “BULLSHIT!! Wait, CC, Is this the chic you told all of us about yesterday. The one that ran him over at starbucks?”

Uh-Oh, the look on Ash’s face said it all but he said it anyway, “I can’t believe you told them. Now do you see why I didn’t want you to say anything? I knew no one would take me seriously until I was able to prove it. C’mon CC, you were supposed to help me out in this situation.”

“Ash, relax, I’m just busting your chops! CC, only told us cuz we bugged the ever living hell outta him. We are all actually pretty proud of you. It’s about time you found someone you could get serious with. No offense, I was just about tired of a different girl on the bus every night.”

“Really? If it bothered you all so much, why didn’t you say anything?”

“Cuz dude, you need time to find out what you wanted.” Andy had a point.

And without skipping a beat I chimed in with, “yeah, and obviously it wasn’t the porn star wannabees you were chasing.”

Ash punched me in the arm, and laughed. “This girl is special guys. Now, let’s say we get some things recorded.”

Ashley’s POV
Well, even though the secret is out a bit earlier than I wanted it to be, I’m glad it’s out. The guys knew about her. That’s most important. And I can relax more, I don’t like keeping secrets from them. They’re my brothers and partners in crime. I just wish they would have told me the whole different girl on the bus every night thing bothered them. I would have stopped, maybe. Ok, but I would have tried.

I was about to shoot Christine a text when Jinxx came into the room “hey Ash, we’re having a big BBQ at Jakes house this weekend. Why don’t you see if your girl can come? It’ll be cool to meet her, and it will just be us, Juliet and Ella.”

“I’ll ask her. Her schedule is just as hectic as ours, so I don’t know if she’ll be able to get free.”

“Alright dude. Later.”

“Later.” Would it be too soon for her to meet the guys? Most people can only take us in small doses until they’re used to us. It took Ella and Juliet quite a while before they could hang out with us as a group.

What the hell, it’s the quickest way to find out if she’ll stick around. Oh god, I hope she does. I decided to call her and see what she would say.

Christine:”Well hello there Mr. Purdy, decided to skip the text I see?!”

I laughed
Me: ”Yeah, well mainly because I have an important question.”

Her: ”Oh really, whats that?”

Me: “Can you possibly get free this Saturday? Jakes having a BBQ at his house and
they wanted me to invite you.”

Her: “I can talk to Angel, see what she thinks. I’m usually good on farmhands on Saturday, and I’ll look at my lessons to see if I can move some around.”

Me: “why don’t you bring Angel along with you, I’m sure she could use a break, and Jinxx could use a date. He’s the only one not bringing anyone”

Her: “ok, give me about an hour or two and I’ll call you back to let you know for sure.”

Me: “Sounds good, talk to you soon.”

Her: “talk to you soon hun.”

I made sure to text Jinxx, that I found him a date, she’s young but he’d like her from the way Christine described her that day. I can’t wait to see her again

Christine’s POV.
Oh it’s been a long morning, and after a night like last night with Ash, I didn’t want to work, I just wanted to lay in bed and remember everything that went on that day.
His phone call startled me a bit, Angel looking knowingly at me. I was very distracted but she was happy about that. She hates that I work so hard. She tells me all the time that I don’t need to work the barn, that’s what I hired people for. It’s true but I like what I do.

I answered the phone and found that one of Ash’s band mates was having a BBQ and I was invited, my heart lurched. What if they don’t like me? I told him I would get back to him with details. And I’m sure Angel would like a day off, being she was invited to.

“So Angel, what would you say to an impromptu day off on Saturday, reschedule some lesson and go to a BBQ?”

“Really, you’re going to reschedule lessons?? Has hell frozen over?”

“What are you getting at?”

“You are the hardest working woman I know. You could be dying from a stab wound and you wouldn’t cancel a lesson. Whats going on with you?”

Yeah, she got me there. I don’t think I’ve ever rescheduled a lesson in the 10 years I’ve been doing this. “I just really want to see him again. You know, I keep telling myself not to get my hopes up. But I can’t help it. Angel there is something about him, I’m constantly thinking about him. I’ve only known the man 4 days and I’m already catching feelings for him. Deep, intense feeling for him.”

“Are you saying you’re falling in love?”

“GOD NO. It’s too early for that. I think I’m saying there is a possibility of it happening in the future though.”

“Wow, woman. I’ve never seen you like this. I say let’s do it. I could use a little fun.”

I made the phone call to Ash, saying we would be there. Told him to text me the address and what time we should show up. He sounded really excited on the phone. Now I’m just counting down the days til I can see him again. I just hope his friends like me.
