Ashley’s POV
“Jinxx, I’m nervous as hell!!”


“Relax Ash, you’ll be fine.”

“But what if….”

“You. Will. Be. Fine.”

I look at him, hoping he’s right. I’m getting ready in the upstairs bathroom with Jinxx’s help. Mine and Christine’s one year anniversary is today. I’m taking her to dinner, and then for a walk by the beach. Same spots we went on our first date. Only difference is, I’m asking her to marry me. Everybody will be at the end of the pier dressed nice waiting for us, Jinxx is holding onto the ring for me. I have never been so nervous in my entire life.

We’ve only been together for a year but it’s never felt so right. I just hope she says yes. I don’t know what I would do if she told me no. Probably die inside, no wait, I don’t want to think like that. I just can’t picture living the rest of my life without her.

Christine’s POV
He did it again. He talked me into wearing a dress. This one I can handle though. It’s a one sided shoulder black dress. Hugs the body up top but at the hip flares out a little. Black and flowing to my knee. A comfortable black dress sandal to complete the look.

“Jersey where are you?” I hear Juliet coming in.

“In the bathroom getting ready.”

Rounding the corner, she takes the brush and flat iron from my hands and helps me do the back of my hair.

“Are you excited for tonight?”

I smile, “Yeah, I can’t believe it’s been one year already. We’re going to the same places we went on our first date. The Café across from the startbucks I ran him over at and a walk on the boardwalk.”

“Sounds like fun. There you’re done. You look amazing. Ash is gunna flip.”

“You think so?”

“He wouldn’t have picked that dress out for you if he didn’t think it would look great. But it looks better than great. Now hurry up and get out there. He’s waiting.”

My heart did a backflip and I got that funny butterfly feeling in my stomach. After a year he still does that to me.

I walk out into the living room where ash is talking with Andy and Jake. Jinxx was at the table with Angel. When she saw me she ran up to me, “Oh my god Jersey, you look beautiful.”

I blush, “Thanks.”

“She’s right babe, you’re fucking gorgeous.” Ash walks up and gives me a kiss.

“You’re looking pretty good yourself Mr. Purdy.” This man could make a garbage bag look good. I hate him for that sometimes.

“Are you ready babe?”

I shake my head yes. We walk out the door hand in hand waving our goodbyes to everyone. We’re taking the Lambo tonight. Thank god I’m wearing flats

Ashley’s POV
Dinner was amazing, and she really does look gorgeous. Walking down the boardwalk, the sun starts to set and it’s a comfortable silence. Her arm wrapped in mine. Well, it’s comfortable for her. I’m so nervous I feel like I’m gunna puke. Hopefully she doesn’t notice that. I turn her down the pier.

“Ash, what’s everyone doing here?”

She noticed our group of friends at the end of the pier, “I don’t know babe. Let’s go find out.” I smile inwardly and thank the lord she had no idea. The girls run up to her as we get close to the end of the pier and bring her into a tight hug, pushing me out of the way. I laugh and walk over to Jinxx. He hands me the ring. Everyone pats me on the back and wishes me luck.

The girls drag Christine back over to me. I take a deep breath, swallow hard and walk up to her with a smile. She mirrors my smile and my heart skips a beat. I. Can. Do. This.
“Babe, this past year has been the best of my life. With you by my side I feel like I can take on the world. You have completed a part of me that I never thought would be whole.” I get down on one knee and she gasps. “I can’t picture my life without you.” A tear escapes over my cheek and I take her hand. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side, marry me Christine.”

Christine’s POV
He just asked me to marry him. I cover my face with me free hand, shaking and crying I fall to my knees in front of him. “Yes, of course I’ll marry you.”

Everyone cheers and shouts as he puts the ring on my finger. He takes my hand and stands us up and kisses me deep, “I love you Christine.”

“I love you too Ash.”

CC was jumping around with Angel like little kids as we walked back to the parking area, he yells out, “Alright, time to go home and celebrate.”

A unified “hell yeah” comes from everyone

We watch as everyone gets in their cars and drives away. Before we leave, we watch the last of the sunset on the same bench. When it finally fades from the sky, we walk in silence to our car, and he pins me on the passenger side kissing me with a burning passion. I wrap my arms around his neck, my knees weaken from the head rush and I almost collapse. He puts his arm around my waist holding me up. He presses his hips into mine and I can feel his growing erection. I bite his lip and he pulls away, leaving us both breathless and smiling.

“So,” I ask, “How nervous were you.”

“You have no idea. I thought I was going to puke.”

I laugh, “I’m glad you didn’t.”

“Yeah, me too. Let’s get home. We’ll celebrate with everyone, then celebrate in our own way.” He wiggles his eyebrows with a shit eating grin on his face. Making me laugh harder. I truly do love this man

awww!!! don't worry, the story isn't over just yet. i promised you a longer chapter which i'll post tonight ;) i still have a few tricks up my sleeve too.
Next chapter will be smutty.
