Angels POV

And she tells me not do to anything stupid, by the sounds of it she was doing exactly what she told me not to do. Jinxx laughed “I knew he couldn’t hold out long.”

“What’s that’s supposed to mean?” I looked at him hard.

He shrunk back from the glare I gave him. “Relax Angel, I just mean he’s not really one for holding out when it comes to sex. He’s always been kind of a ladies man, and yeah even though he wanted to wait, and for it to be special with her, I kinda knew he wouldn’t be able to to hold back.”

“What do you mean by ladies’ man?” I had to pull that out of him. Jersey is my best friend, and means the world to me. With everything she’s done for me, and the way she watches over me, I couldn’t let anything happen to her. She’s a mother figure in my life too. If anything happened to her I don’t know what I would do.

“Let’s just say we’ve dubbed him the slayer of women. But I know where you’re going with this. When it comes down to it, he is loyal. He isn’t the player type. He really has feelings for Christine, and won’t do anything to ruin that. She is all he talks about. You should have seen him pacing the floor when she text him saying you guys were on your way. I guess what I’m really trying to say that after Ashley was hurt by his ex a few years back, he needed to ‘find himself’ and did it through sex. But with Christine he actually feels something, something he hasn’t in a long time.”

“Really?” He shook his head at me, “Well either way, if he hurts Jersey, I’ll hurt him!” I gave Jinxx a quick kiss, and curled into him. I guess I’ll have to trust Jinxxs’ word on this. Ashley better not hurt her.

“Trust me Angel, you really have nothing to worry about. We all like Christine, and you of course, and we wouldn’t let him do anything stupid to ruin this. He, in his own way, needs her. She grounds him. He hasn’t been drinking half as much, His fashion line has a bunch of new ideas, and he is actually participating more in writing and recording. It was like he lost his spirit there for a while. Christine brought that all back. She really is helping him in ways none of us could have imagined. And in such a short time. He became himself again when she ran him over in starbucks.”

“Yeah, Jersey has a way with people. She did the same for me. Funny thing is, she doesn’t do it knowingly. It’s not like she tries to do this for people, I don’t even think she realizes the changes she makes in people’s lives. She’s just being herself.”

“I think she is exactly what Ashley needs. But I can tell you one thing. He’s gunna beat himself up tomorrow for letting himself take it all the way with her so soon.”

“Well, people have urges, and Christine isn’t as innocent as she seems. They are adults, and realize what they want. It doesn’t mean anything if they go all the way too soon. It means something if they let it become just sex. That’s what ruins the relationship. Not the sex itself, but making the relationship only sex.”

“You are wise beyond your years.” He kissed me on the forehead, “and I think that’s why I feel such a connection with you.”

I looked up into his eyes, and kissed him. I think there could be something here with Jinxx. I hope so. I’m an old soul, I don’t act or feel 20. I need someone to realize that, and I think Jinxx does.
