Awkward Love
Chapter 1: Children Surrender
Jake's POV
I sit here alone, in Glasgow. I'm sitting in our hotel room. Andy and Jinxx wanted to sleep on the tour bus, Ashley, CC and I wanted to sleep in a hotel room but there were no hotel rooms with three beds in so, CC and I decided to rent a room together and split the payment. Ashley got his own room. CC, Ashley and probably others went out to bars in Glasgow as we'd already played the show in the SECC. I sat here on this black, metal bed in a cream room. I sat here dreaming about my only love, CC. CC is really mad and outgoing but he's really nice, caring and kindhearted. I sat and played Mortal Kombat on my Xbox. I kicked some ass while thinking about CC. I had to wait up for CC as the last time he was drunk he urinated and puked out the window, covering Andy, Ashley and Jinxx, he then he fell asleep at the bottom of my bed half naked. Oh no, I fell asleep playing my Xbox, I was exhausted. I was awoken by a knock on my door. Andy stood with spew on his shoulder and CC falling in the doorway. I grabbed CC and slammed him on his bed. Andy seemed pretty disgusted. "Hey could you help me with Ashley please?" Andy asked trying not to throw up. I grabbed Ashley's room key and opened the door I put his key on the closet closest to the door. I then grabbed Ashley and lay him on his bed. Luckily Andy had held my room door open. I ran in hearing Andy thank me. Since I'd put him on the bed, CC had managed to roll in between the beds. I tried to drag him up onto my bed by his arm. It was trying to move dead weight. I managed to wake him up he started to talk a load of crap, but he managed to pass out on his bed. I was quite happy as he was quiet and in bed. I fell into a light sleep. I was listening for CC. Luckily CC slept all night.
CC seemed really lively the next morning. It was like hangovers didn't affect him. I woke up to him jumping up and down on my bed trying to wake me up.
CC's POV
Well last night's a blur but I feel alive, so alive that I decided to jump on Jake's bed to wake him up. He seemed a bit unimpressed so I stopped after a couple of minutes. I sat on my bed thinking about Jake, he's so quiet and nice, he must really love me if he's shared a room with me TWICE! I like Jake more than a band mate, I love him. I wonder if Jake loves me as much as I love him? I looked over my shoulder to see Jake sitting up in his bed. He seemed less groggy than before. He looked wrecked, he had big black marks under his eyes. "CC we should each go for a shower and then go for breakfast." Jake suggested. I stood up at the bottom of his bed. "Yeah I'll go in the shower first." I agreed. I grabbed a couple towels before running full force into the bathroom door. I heard Jake laugh. I got back up, picked up the towels and walked calmly into the bathroom. I could still hear Jake laughing.
Jake's POV
Well after he woke me up I suggested we each go for a shower. He agreed and decided to go for a shower first. He grabbed some towels and ran into the bathroom door, the moron. I began to laugh. I laughed even harder when he picked himself and the towels up and calmly walked into the bathroom. I sat and played Black Ops 2 until CC came out of the shower. I grabbed the remaining two towels and walked into the bathroom, I was still unbelievably groggy.
CC's POV
When I came out the shower I saw Jake play Black Ops 2, as usual. I dried my hair with the provided hair dryer. I then put on my skinny jeans and my black boots. Jake came out of the shower by that time. I put on my 'stained' Black Veil Brides t-shirt. I tied my hair back in a ponytail, shoved on my black wooly hat and my black and white hoodie. Jake went through the same processes as me, excluding the hair tied back and my hat, which probably explains why he was quicker. When we were ready we went downstairs for breakfast. We each ordered the full Scottish Breakfast with a cup of coffee. We were trying to decide on what to do today, considering we have a day off. I saw Ashley stumble downstairs. I ran over to help him, leaving Jake looking confused. Jake looked over his shoulder to see me and Ashley walking towards the table. Ashley sat down next to Jake and I sat across from them. Ashley couldn't understand the menu, so I got him a full Scottish Breakfast and a glass of water. Scottish accents are really hard to understand. I think there were fans in the same hotel as us as a couple of times I'd see girls walk past and notice me. Our waitress came with our breakfast pretty quickly. She paused for a moment. "Hey you're Black Veil Brides." She whispered knowing that we would get mobbed. She continued to serve us. We continued our conversation about what film to watch together. "Why don't we sit out on the bus and watch a film, see what film Jinxx and Andy want to watch." Ashley suggested. There was the occasional conversation but for the most part breakfast was silent. All three of us ran upstairs to our rooms and packed our bags, getting ready to check out. I didn't need to pack my bag, so I helped Jake pack his bag. We put in his Xbox and everything to go with it and then his dirty laundry. Jake and I made our way downstairs. "Hi, we'd like to check out." Jake said. "Ok is it the same room?" Yeah I answered as she handed me a clipboard and a pen. We sat down and filled the sheets out. We were making jokes and just being CC and Jake, CC makes jokes or faces and Jake either laughs or disapproves. We handed over our clipboards and pens. Jake handed over half the cost in cash and I paid the rest in cash. Ashley was just checking out as we left. We got on the bus and was greeted by Jinxx' stench, it smelled worse than Jake's farts. Jake and I would get used to the stench eventually. "Hey we thought about watching a movie together?" I suggested to a zombie Andy and a stinky, half naked Jinxx. "Yeah, what movie?" Andy asked. "We couldn't decide any suggestions?" Jake asked. Andy looked at Jinxx. "No idea." Jinxx answered. "Me either." Andy commented. We waited on Ashley. Jake shut him and Jinxx in the back room together. Andy was busy getting dressed in the bunk area. I sat on the long, brown, leather sofa and looked through the different movies we have. Not long after, I sat down, Ashley came in. Andy looked over to him and shot him the look that he usually tried to beckon us with. They went into the room at the far end, throwing Jake out in the process. I wanted to tell him I loved him but it would be awkward and weird if he didn't love me. Jake sat down beside me and put his guitar on his lap. He laid a sheet of paper on the table in front of me. He started to play the guitar. "I've just written this, I couldn't hold it in any more." Jake began. Suddenly he was interrupted by Ashley, Andy and Jinxx. Jake sat down beside me and put his guitar down by his left leg. "We decided on Marley and Me." Ashley blurted out. Me and Jake looked at each other puzzled, it doesn't seem the kind of film they would like, we don't really like chick flicks. We went along with it because we didn't want to start any arguments. Me and Jake just sat next to each other, neither of us making an effort to move.
Ashley's POV
When I walked onto the bus. Andy shot me a beckoning look. I dumped my backpack on my bunk while following Andy into the back room. Andy, nicely, asked Jake to leave. Jake left me, Andy and Jinxx in a room together. Andy closed the door. "Jake and CC love each other but can't see that the other loves them. We have to choose a film that will make them snuggle and possibly other things." Andy broke the silence. "Well Jake wrote a song about CC." Jinxx commented. "Awesome, but we need to agree on some film that will get them together." Andy stated. After about ten minutes of throwing films out at each other, we agreed on Marley and Me since they both have dogs which they love very much. When we walked out of the back room, Jake was about to serenade CC. Jake decided to lay down his guitar and sit on the long, brown, leather sofa. Andy walked into the living area followed by me and Jinxx. "We've decided to watch Marley and Me." I blurted out. Jake and CC looked at each other a bit confused. Nobody said anything. "Hey why don't we get a bite to eat before we watch the movie?" Jinxx suggested. I looked up at the clock. "It's only 11am." I stated. "We usually have lunch around 12pm." Everybody began to nod in agree. "What could we do for an hour?" Jake asked. I knew what Andy was thinking. "Truth or Dare?" Andy suggested. Jinxx and I nodded to agree. Jake and CC looked at each other. "Why not?" Jake said on behalf of them both.
CC's POV
Instead of watching Marley and Me we decided to play truth or dare for an hour, get lunch and then watch the movie. Andy, Ashley and Jinxx sat around the table. "Let's make this a bit fairer." I said. I walked over to the table and took away its one supporting leg causing it just to be attached to the wall, and it being no use to anyone, in its current state. "Who wants to go first?" Jake asked. "I will." Ashley said regretfully. "Ok truth or dare?" Jake asked. "Dare." Ashley mumbled getting nervous. "I dare you to take something from someone's bunk and hide it and see how long it takes for them to notice." Jake replied. We closed our eyes while Ashley hid something from one of our bunks and came and sat back down. "Jinxx, truth or dare?" Ashley asked looking at Jinxx. "Truth." Jinxx announced. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Ashley asked smiling. "Yes it did, I shattered all the bones in my body and I was in a full body cast." Jinxx proudly said. Everybody began to slightly laugh. "Andy, truth or dare?" Jinxx asked smiling. "Dare." Andy commented. "I dare you to run through a crowd of people screaming I love you all." Jinxx declared. Andy looked out the window closest to him. He dashed off the bus. We looked out the window near the folded down table. We watched Andy, he ran through the crowd of people several times screaming "I love you all." He ran back on the bus and sat down. We clapped and cheered. We sat down in our places. It was now my turn. "Truth or dare CC?" Andy asked while gasping for breath. "Dare?" I said with no confidence. "I dare you to sit on Jake's lap." Andy stated. I slowly moved towards Jake. I was unsure about this. Jake unfolded his legs. I stood up and carefully sat on his lap. I felt a bit weird, but I was sitting on Jake's lap. "Truth or dare, Jake?" I asked looking down on him. "Truth." He smiled. "What did you want to tell me before we were interrupted?" I asked nervously. "I've only told Jinxx this but, CC I think I'm in love..." He began. My heart sank, "no he doesn't like me." I thought. "... With you." Jake finished.

CC's POV
