My Prophet
We're Still On The Ground
"Come on Andy." I said, helping him on the bus. It was rather big which was good because I was pretty sure Andy was going to need to stretch out. He took the steps one at a time and I made sure to keep my arms around him at all times. He winced a bit, "I've got you, baby, it's fine."
"Hey! Andy's here guys!" Ashley said, seeing us walk on the bus.
"And Corrie!" CC screamed. They were all seated in the front lounge Ella under Jake's arm and Sammi under Jinxx's. CC jumped up and ran to us. He tried to hug Andy but I stepped in front of him.
"Hey C, Andy is still in a bunch of pain, so be careful okay?" I said, smiling at him.
"Okay." CC said, looking deflated.
"Andy, I've got your stuff." John said walking on the bus with a few bags in his hand's. "There's still a few bags of yours and Coralie's so.."
"Thanks John." Andy said.
"I'll go get them, why don't you sit down, Hun." I said.
"Okay." He nodded and I helped him over to a seat on the couch. He grunted and sat down, before closing his eyes. I walked off the bus and back to the car we had bring us here. My suitcases and a few of Andy's sat in the back of it. I grabbed them all and brought them back on the bus. We were an hour or two away from the first venue Andy would be on. They were just doing a signing today and tomorrow but Andy was performing the next day which was exciting. I just hoped he wasn't over doing it.
"Where should I put these, babe?" I asked Andy.
"Just throw them in the back lounge for now." He said, "Can you get my painkillers?"
"Yeah." I said, walking back to the lounge and placing our bags by the others. I grabbed Andy's medicine from my purse and walked out to him.
"There's some water in the fridge." Jinxx said and I nodded. I walked over and grabbed a bottle for him.
"Here babe." I said handing it to him. He unscrewed the cap on the pills and then the water as I sat next to him. He swallowed the pills quickly and wrapped his arms around my waist. His head rested in my neck. "So this is what touring is like." I chuckled.
"Not really, usually we have about a thousand more people on here. That'll happen tonight." Ashley grinned.
"Oh I remember from Irvine." I rolled my eyes.
"I'll just be laying in our bunk." Andy groaned. I frowned at him as he closed his eyes, holding me.
"I'm sure your girl will be with ya." Jake said.
"Of course." I said kissing his cheek.
"Andy seriously though, what the fuck were you thinking up there?" Ashley asked.
"I wasn't." He chuckled. I felt the bus roar to life under us and it started moving. "How've the signings been?"
"Good. But don't try any shit like that again Andy, seriously." Jake shook his head, "You could have killed yourself."
I looked down at him and raised my eyebrows. He stuck his tongue out, "I know."
"I won't let him." I said laying my head on his.
"Good." Jinxx said.
"Andy, you can't leave Coralie by herself. You have to be careful." Ella warned and Sammi nodded.
"I will be." Andy groaned.
I giggled, "Guys don't pick on him, he's still hurts."
"Thank you, Corrie." He said moving so his head was on my lap. I tangled my fingers in his hair.
"Whatever let's watch a movie." Jinxx said, turning the TV on. They started flipping through the guide and I relaxed back as Andy fell asleep on me.

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
