My Prophet

For The Forgotten

Andy picked up his bag, and with one final look exited our apartment. After last night, letting him go was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

I already changed into my leotard, seeing as though I had rehearsal in twenty minutes. Andy left his car here for me to use, since Keenan and I used to share one.

I felt bad for not crying this time. I think my eyes had run dry from last night. Andy, and I had spent all morning with each other, wrapped in the sheets, and our bare skin. I already missed the way his arms felt around me.

I grabbed my dance bag off of the counter, slipped my shoes on, and walked out of the apartment. Andy's car was parked right outside, so I hopped in it, and drove off.

Once I arrived at the studio, the same one I met Andy in, I tied my pointe shoes and warmed myself up. Keenan walked in a few moments later.

"Hey hey Corrie." He said, throwing an arm around my shoulders.

"Hi." I smiled, weakly.

"He left didn't he?" Keenan asked.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"How long?"

"Two weeks." I said.

"That's not too bad." He smiled.

"Eh. I hope it goes by fast." I shrugged.

"It will, then you don't have to worry about him leaving until summer, and then you'll go with him." Keenan said.

"Your right." I said, feeling a bit happier. "Thanks Keen."

"Anytime." He chuckled, as our ballet master walked in the room.

"Hello Corrie, and Keenan." George said.

"Hey George." I smiled.

"Ready to run the Snow Pas over and over again?" He laughed.

"Hell yeah we are!" Keenan said, lifting me off of the ground onto his shoulder.

"Alright, let's get to it!" He said, turning the music on. We started, and I prepared to forget the pain of Andy's absence.

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write

Awh thanks! This is one of my older stories so I personally believe the quality isn't as good as some of my more recent ones but thank you!

Just finished chapter one and already digging it! Can't wait to continue reading it!
