My Prophet
Fall Down
"Coralie!" Anna called after us, as we bursted out of the front door. "Get back in this house right now!" Corrie didn't respond, she just kept walking with her suitcase in her right hand, and my hand in her left. "Coralie, I am your mother!"
There was was a cab waiting at the end of the driveway, and I heard Anna following us to it.
"I'm sorry!" She yelled.
"Don't your dare!" Coralie whipped her head around. "Your not sorry. If you were sorry you wouldn't have done it. We're leaving!"
"Corrie, your dad is going to be devastated." Coralie rolled her eyes, and we kept walking.
"I already talked to him, and he has encouraged me to go. I love Andy, mom, and I will not stand here and watch you and everyone else criticize him." She kept on walking, and we finally made it to the cab. I loaded our things in the trunk, and got inside the cab with Corrie. Before I did though, her mother stood right next to me.
"She is not as great as you think." Her voice was biting. I looked at her angrily.
"Your right she's better." I growled, and got in the car. It immediately started moving, and Coralie pressed into my side. She started sobbing, so I wrapped my arms tighter around her. "It's okay, Shh. Your okay." I rubbed her arms up and down.
"They're supposed to be my family." She shook her head.
"I know, baby, I'll be your family now." She sobbed harder, but had a smile on her face.
"Thank you." She shook her head.
"I love you." I smiled.
"I love you too, more than anything."

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
