My Prophet

First Impressions

Andy, and I walked in the front door of my parents house. I heard the loud voices of six people in the kitchen. I closed the door loudly signaling Andy, and I were here.

"Hello?" I called out.

"Coralie!" I heard many voices shout. All four of my brothers, my mother, and my father came running to the front room. I let go of Andy's hand, to join them all in a hug.

I pulled away, and returned to Andy's side. I noticed Don, and Anthony whispering to themselves.

"Guys this is my boyfriend, Andy Biersack." I said smiling up at him. "Andy this is my mom Anna, my father Mark, and my brothers Luke, Anthony, Don, and Ethan."

Andy waved, "It's nice to meet you all." My father walked up to him, and shook his hand.

"Nice Kiss shirt." He said.

Andy grinned, "Thank you, nice Metallica shirt."

"Thank you." My dad laughed, and looked over at me, "I like him." I blushed, and shoved his shoulder.

"Dad." I shook my head.

"Would you two like to sit down in the living room?" My mother asked.

"Sure." I muttered, afraid of her and my brothers judging me or Andy. We all walked into the living room, and sat on the couches. I put my arm around his waist, and he slung his around my shoulder.

"So Andy what's the name of your band again?" My mother asked.

"Black Veil Brides, m'am." Andy said.

"Is that a religious band or?" She asked, and I felt my throat tighten.

I'm religious, but Andy is not. I don't judge anyone who isn't, but my mother, the perfect southern woman, clearly does.

"Uhm no." Andy mumbled, "I myself am not religious, but I'm interested in the idea of religion."

"Then why not worship?" She asked.

"Mom." I said glaring at her.

"What? If he likes the idea of it that should mean he worships it."

"Anna!" My father said angrily, "That's his decision to make, not yours."

"I grew up going to catholic school. The teachers, the students, everyone around me kind of cause me to lose faith in anything besides music. Uhm until I met your daughter." Andy mumbled the last part, a small blush falling across his cheeks.

"Oh well that's nice." My mother said her lips pursed. I rolled my eyes, "How is dance Corrie?"

"It's really great. We just finished Gisselle, now we're working on the Nutcracker." I said, eager to change the subject.

"Has Andy seen you dance yet?" My father asked.

"He hasn't yet." I said chuckling.

"But I did buy my tickets for the Nutcracker already." Andy laughed.

"What's your role, darling?" My mom said.

"The Snow Queen, Arabian, Sugar Plum Fairy, and the lead flower." I said, counting the roles on my fingers.

"What are you performing when Andy comes to see it?" My dad asked.

"I think Snow Queen, and Arabian." I smiled.

"Lovely." My mom smiled. "We'll come out for opening night."

"Great!" I smiled. "So how is school going you guys?" I asked my brothers.

"Good." They all said simultaneously, in the same monotonous voice. I rolled my eyes at them.

"Well you two should get some sleep. It's late." My mom smiled, and Andy and I nodded, bidding them goodnight.

We we pulled our suitcases upstairs, which proved to be a challenge. Finally we reached my old bedroom door. I pushed it open to reveal the black, band poster covered walls. Andy laughed as he set his suitcase down.

"Your room looks like mine did." He said running is hand over a Kiss poster. I saw him smirk up at Nikki Sixx's face which hung over my bed.

"I'm really sorry about my mom, and brothers." I said sitting down on my bed.

"Sweetie it's fine," He sat down, and pulled me into his chest, "Parents are just like that."

I sighed, "Yeah I guess, I just wish my mom was more like my dad."

"Your dad is really awesome." Andy smiled.

"Yeah he is." I nodded.

"I love you." Andy smiled, and kissed my forehead.

"I love you too." I said kissing his cheek. He placed his lips against mine, and I trailed my arms around his neck. My hands drifted under his shirt, and danced across his bare chest. His rubbed my arms up, and down. "We should change." I mumbled against his mouth. Instead of responding he deepened the kiss. I felt my insides light with joy. "Andy." He pulled away, and make a confused face at me.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"Nothing." I shook my head, and he just nodded. I cursed myself for ruining the moment, and quickly changed into my pajamas. Andy had stripped down to his boxers, and crawled into my bed. I turned the light off, and burrowed into his arms, falling asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.

Notes

I don't like Corrie's mom!

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
