My Prophet

Your...shy?

Coralie held tightly to my hand as Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria, and Matt Good from Drugs walked up to us. She told me earlier that she was nervous to meet everyone, and that she was afraid they wouldn't like her.

I promised her they would, but what do I know? I'm in love with her, what if one of them makes a stupid remark, or someone has a spirit with them? What is she going to do..

"Hey guys." I said wrapping an arm around Corrie's shoulders. She pressed into my side, and I could feel her tense up.

"Hey man." Danny said his British accent ringing through his voice. He waved at Coralie, and she giggled. "You must be the beautiful girl Andy's been talking about for two months now." I laughed, and looked off to the side, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"I guess so." She raised an eyebrow at me, "I'm Coralie." She extended a hand out towards Danny, and I saw a certain look flash in her eye.

Oh no.

She was looking past Danny, and at something nobody else could see. I could tell by the look in her eyes, and how she was biting her lip. It was a spirit.

"Danny." He smiled at her.

"Good god I'm glad you here, Andy wouldn't quit going on and on about how beautiful, and how perfect you are." Matt shook his head, and Coralie laughed breathily. She was distracted, and still looking in the same direction.

"Well I'm glad he missed me so much, and wasn't partying every night." She giggled, and pressed closer into my side. I kissed her temple, and rubbed her arm.

"Pssh, that boy barely picked up a drop of alcohol and that's saying something." Matt laughed.

"So Coralie, I hear your a dancer." Danny said.

"I am, I dance with the Los Angeles Ballet." She smiled.

"That's really cool." He said nodding his head.

"So what's the plan? You staying on the rest of this tour?" Matt asked.

Coralie shook her head, and made a sad face, "No, I have a lot of work to do at the Ballet, I'm surprised they let me have today off. I'm driving back tomorrow." She said.

"Ooh sleeping in Biersacks bed." Danny said, winking.

"Shutup, Danny." I rolled my eyes.

"Well it was nice meeting you but we have alcoholic beverages calling our names." Matt said.

"Alright bye!" Corrie smiled at them, and as soon as they left the hallway we were standing in she turned to me. "Their is so much spirit here." She rubbed her temples.

"I KNEW IT!" I said, and she hit my arm.

"Shh!" She said, "I don't want anyone but you knowing abut my gift, okay?"

I pretended to zip my lips up, "I promise I won't tell a soul."

"Okay." She said biting her lip.

"Is it a person, or is the building just haunted?" I asked.

"It's the building." She leaned against the wall, and sank down it. "They are everywhere."

"Like where?" I asked.

"Their is one in that corner, one behind you, one followed Matt and Danny, one by the door to the dressing room...and so many more." She sighed heavily, and I sat down beside her.

"Are you gonna be okay?" I asked worriedly.

"Yes, it's just a little..overwhelming." She smiled reassuringly at me. "Is their anyone else left to meet?"

"Hmm Sammi and Ella, but everyone else you'll meet at the after party tonight." I said pulling her into my side.

"Sounds good." She said, and pecked me on the lips. We stood up, and walked into the dressing room. I noticed Corrie glance right in the same corner. I stopped her before we went into the room.

"What do they look like?" I asked.

"When it's like a building that's haunted, they are almost like shadows. I can't see their faces, but I can see the outlines of their bodies. When it's a person standing with a loved one I can see every little feature about them." She replied.

"That's amazing." I shook my head, and she nodded.

"I guess, it just gets frustrating. They are literally everywhere, always bugging me." She said.

"Do you like having your gift?" I inquired.

"I love it. It's just weird sometimes." I nodded, and we walked into the dressing room. Sammi was on Jinxx's lap, and Ella was under Jakes arm. They immediately perked up when they saw Coralie. They scrambled over towards us.

"Hey I'm Sammi!" The blonde said smiling cheekily.

"I'm Ella." The brunette said.

"Coralie." Corrie smiled at both of the girls, before they dove in to a series of questions for her. I shook my head, and sat next to Jinxx on the couch, while the girls pulled Corrie to the corner.

"They are so excited for their to be another girl around." Jinxx chuckled.

"I can tell." I said, grinning.

It felt nice to have someone I could call my own. It it was nice to have someone to miss honestly.

Notes

Kind of a filler(:

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
