My Prophet

We were now about three quarters of the way through the tour, and I missed Corrie more and more everyday. Today the guys and I were in California, and it was so hard to know I was only a couple hours from her.

I asked Corrie to take a trip up to Irvine, California and see me perform. She told me their was no way she could, since she was so busy at work right now.

I never imagined that I would miss someone so much. Every time we performed I thought of my Coralie. It's ridiculous to me that two months ago I was sleeping with a different girl every night, and now their was only one girl on my mind. I sighed, and ran a hand through my hair. I was sitting back stage watching Asking Alexandria do their sound check. I sadly ran my thumb over a picture of Corrie. Her long curly hair was shining in the sun, and a shocked smile settled on her features. Keenan sent it to me on her phone, and I loved it so much I made it my wallpaper.

"Dude, chill out! You'll see her in ten days." CC said shaking his head at me. I scowled at him, and walked back to our dressing room.

The venue we were in wasn't too big, and that's how I like it. Small shows are the best kind of shows because you can really connect with your audience.

I sank down on a couch. It was eerily silent back their with everyone either side stage or in the audience. Sammi, Jinxx's girlfriend, and Ella, Jake's girlfriend, had joined us on tour about a week ago. It's made me even lonelier.

I put my earbuds in and turned on Without You. I felt tears coming to my eyes, again I might add. I squeezed them shut, and tried to listen to Vince Neil's voice, but I felt such pain when I heard the lyrics.

God, I want to hold her.

I sighed, and crossed my arms over my chest. Why couldn't she come? It was three hours away! She could be in my arms right now.

I pulled a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter out of my pocket. I lit a cigarette between my teeth, and exhaled. I suddenly got an idea for a song.

I bolted to my bag, and pulled out my notebook. I quickly scribbled across the page:

I smiled down at the page, feeling connected to the lyrics more than any other one of my songs. It was the first one I wrote about Corrie. I knew it had to be on our next album. Once I got back to Hollywood I was recording our new Rebels Ep. Afterwards we go back on tour, and then we started working on our next album, which I had big ambitions for.

Suddenly I heard loud yells in the hall including the words 'No way!', and 'I can't believe this!'. I shook my head, and dismissed it as Ashley, and CC getting drunk.

Then I heard the door to the dressing room open, and my heart stopped.
