Finding Help

It was perfect we walked into the police station and there Jake was. He had a sad expression on his face until he looked up. We ran to each other, the whole group, and we made a giant group hug right there in the middle of the hallway. Jake and I were in the middle and I was getting squished. Nobody cried thankfully because we were all men about it. Jake and I stayed in each other’s arms because he missed me the most.
“You’re the only female that I trust now.” He whispered in my ear.
“I will never break that trust.” I told him.
It wasn’t until I realized the guys were watching that we broke away.
“So you okay man?” Ash asked resting his hand on Jake’s back.
“Oh yeah I’m fine but I will never let five chicks pull me into a car ever again.” He said somewhat seriously.
“I’m sorry I let this happen to you.” CC said giving Jake a bear hug.
“You know you shouldn’t feel bad for what happened.” He said patting CC’s back.
“So were the chicks hot?” Ashley asked. We all turned to him and looked like he was crazy.
“So anything new happen while I was gone?” Jake said trying to change the subject. Of course without knowing it he put it on me.
“Well Feather and Jinxx screwed.” CC blurted out. I scowled at him.
“Feather also took your place in the show.” Andy said smiling.
“God Damn it guys shut up!” I yelled at them. Jake laughed and hugged me.
“Thank you for helping us all out, Feather. You’re a great friend, you wanna play at the next show with me?” he asked hopeful.
“You’re welcome but hell no. I will not ever go back on stage again.

It’s the end of the summer and since we got Jake back I was on stage six more times. Nobody else was kidnapped and Jake and I started dating as I started school. He said I was worth getting with because I trusted him and I wouldn’t stray just like he trust me and I know he won’t stray. When we facetime I look at his beautiful eyes and when he returns home with his dogs he will take me with him.
