Some things are worth fighting for

Emily has been a foster child sense she was 13 old when her father beat her mother to death then threatened to kill her next. Her father then continued to brutally beat her for another three month before she finally worked up the courage to call social services.
The flash backs of the night father killed her mother Haunt her. The screaming, hitting and her father then throwing Emily's small body into a mirror. She remembers it much too clearly much too vividly, Just like it was yesterday.
Emily is currently 17 and has lived with 18 other foster family's over the years, yet is always found a way to get sent back to the orphanage.

Emily's POV

"Emily Green please report to Mrs. Hang's office."
Mrs. Hang, Oh God that means another foster family, I cant wait till I'm 18 and can get out of the hell hole, I thought to myself. I slowly made my way to Mrs. Hangs office where I saw a plump woman with black greasy hair pulled up into bun, she was wearing a plum dress.
According to how she was dressed I assume she has many cats and buys her make-up from the dollar store.
'Emily, This is Ms. Black she will be your next foster parent.'
