Cruel Cruel

"Do it." Andy said laughing.

We were standing on top of a big bridge that was over top of a deep river. Derek, Ashley, and Caliegh all looked at Andy and I scaredly.

"You have to do it with me." I said. He wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Fine." He said, and we climbed over to the other side of the rail. He grabbed my hands. "Are you ready?"

"You guys are insane!" Derek said looking at me with wide eyes.

"Shut up Derek. Yes I'm ready." Andy pulled me close to his body, and I smiled feeling his bare chest on my hands.

"Okay. One, two, three!" Andy jumped off the bridge with me in his arms. We plunged down screaming, but still holding on to each other.

I felt the warm water hit my body, and Andy and I let go to swim to the surface. We laughed so hard, and swam to the small beach next to river.

We flopped into the sand, and Andy grabbed my hand.

"I can't believe you two actually did that!" Ashley yelled down at us.

"Stop being babies, and do it!" I yelled.

I watched as Caliegh took Ashley's cowboy hat off of his head, and jumped off the bridge with no fear. Ashley followed after her, and soon Derek was standing alone on the top of the bridge with all of us on the beach.

"I'm not doing it!" Derek yelled. I huffed, and rolled my eyes.

"Derek you pussy, go!" I yelled back at him, "NOW!" I said. He went to other side of the rail, and jumped.

He resurfaced, and swam over to us quickly. "I hate you, Lee!"

I laughed, "You love me!" I said.

He raised an eyebrow, and threw me over his boney shoulder.

"Derek!" I said laughing so hard I couldn't breathe, as he ran back into the water.

Andy ran in after us, and took me from Derek. He carried me on his hip like a small child, and I laughed as he bounced me up and down.

Caleigh, and Ashley followed in after us.

"Let's have a battle!" I challenged Caliegh, and she laughed.

"A what?" She asked.

"I get on Andy's shoulders, and you get on Ashley's and we fight until one of us falls off." I said.

"Let's do it!" She exclaimed. Andy helped me on his shoulders, as Caleigh got on Ashley's. Derek decided he'd be the referee.

"Alright, start on three. One, two, three." Caleigh and I started wrestling each other. I pushed her, and Ashley stumbled. She clasped her fingers with mine, and we pushed back and forth on each other, until eventually I pushed her so hard she flew off of Ashley. She resurfaced laughing.

"OH AND LEE IS THE WINNER!" Derek yelled. Andy flung me off his shoulders, and I came up and jumped on his back. I kissed his cheek, and sighed wondering how I got so lucky.

Wondering how this was my life.
