Cruel Cruel

"Alright, that's a wrap Lee!" My producer, Ryan, said to me. I jumped for joy. I had been recording for two months now. My first album was called Poetic Tree's. I was in a band called Shameless. As the lead singer, and creator of the band, the idea of having an album with an actual label was incredible. I laid the huge pair of headphones down on the stool next to me, and walked out of the recording booth. My best friend and musician as well, Derek, was sitting on the couch watching me.
"This is crazy!" I said to them both, "We're actually going to have an album!"
"When Mayday Parade recorded our first album we were so scared!" Derek said to me, as he got up and hugged me. "I'm so proud of you!"
I hugged him back, "Should I call the rest of the band?" I asked Ryan.
"Yeah!" He said, "We'll listen to it for the first time together and see if you want to add or redo anything. Then it should be about a month until we release it!"
"Awesome!" I smiled at him. I couldn't believe this was happening, this was my big break.
