Second Chances

I curled up against Ash’s side and laid my head on his shoulder with my hand on his chest. “Ash…would you date me?” I asked almost hesitantly, worried that I was going to piss him off somehow.

“Of course I would. You’re perfect in every way Chase. You’re beautiful, funny, understanding, and so much more. I’d love to date a girl as amazing as you are.” He looked me dead in the eye and leaned over slightly, barely brushing our lips together. I froze before I moved so I was straddling him and kissing him more possessively. His hands went to my hips, but he made no attempt to do anything else. He and I were so caught up that we didn’t hear the guys re-enter the room.

“Whoa hey come on guys! Can we not blind everyone else!?” I pulled back and looked over at Kaim.

“Fuck you Kai.” I got off of Ash and blushed lightly.

“We weren’t gonna do anything guys, come on I’m not going to try to fuck her after everything that happened.” I looked down and sighed.

“Chase, if you want to date Ash then go ahead. You seem pretty calm with him and if he can help you then I have no problem with it.” I looked up at Jinxx and smiled.

“Thanks Jer.”

“Yeah, thanks Jinxx.” Ash pulled me back down and made me blush as he grabbed my waist and pinned me beneath him.

“No fair! Ash get off!” The other guys just laughed and went about dishing out the Chinese food they bought.

“Chase, we got you General Tso and fried rice that okay?”

“Yes, that’s my favorite, so thanks Elk for getting it for me.” I tried to push Ash off of me only to have him pin my hands above my head, with only enough force to be the equivalent of him holding my hand. “Ash…please get off…”

He noticed that I was getting scared and kissed my neck lightly before instantly getting off me. “I’m sorry love.”

“It’s fine…Just please don’t pin my hands like that.”

“Alright, I’m sorry.” He got off the bed and pulled me up with him. “Eat, you need it.”

“Yes master.” I spoke sarcastically and went to the coffee table where the guys were separating the food.

“Aww my slave is such an obedient one.” Ash sat next to me on the floor and passed me a plate. We ate in semi-silence, only arguing over who got what from the other plates. Elk and I fought over the fried rice while Ash and Jinxx argued over the egg rolls. Kaim just happily ate whatever to get his hands on.

I leaned against Ash and sighed. “When is the next show? And uhh what did you tell the fans?”

“We told them that you were sick, and our next show is tonight I think?” Elk asked Jinxx who nodded.

“Yeah, we’re playing at a venue just down the street, so you have time to do whatever.Do you want to spend time with just your band Chase or hang with Ash for a while still?”

“Umm…I want to hang with my band, no offense Ash but I haven’t seen them for two weeks…”

“It’s okay love. Just don’t think too much.” He leaned over and kissed me lightly before getting up and walking out of the room with Jinxx behind him.

“So, you and Ashley fucking Purdy huh?”

“Yes, I don’t even know how that happened.” I smiled a bit at Elk and stretched.

“Well what did happen?”

“Elk let the poor girl get used to the fact that she’s dating the best bassist ever.”

“Kaim I have to disagree…Max Green is the best bassist ever.”

“Yes Max is fucking gorgeous, but that’s beside the point boys.” The three of us laughed and attempted to pick up the remnants of ‘breakfast’ before Kaos and Clair came to the room. The clean-up attempt turned into some weird kind of pillow fight since Elk ‘attacked’ me with a cushion from the couch. Kaos and Clair walked in on us in the middle of the ‘fight’ and just watched for a good five minutes before joining in.

This was more of a filler than anything, but it was also kinda needed. So sorry if it's a bit boring.

There's not going to be a random fact for today, but for any of you who have seen the awesome movies Tangled and Frozen, Rapunzel and Eugene appear for a few seconds in Frozen!! like holy fuck! haha
