“I’ve been hearing about you long enough.” Andy’s mom spoke up. “It’s about damn time. What took you so long Andy?”

“Hey she could have asked me.” He said in self-defense. “It’s not like back in the day where the guy always had to ask the girl out.”

“I’m not going to ask a guy out! That’ll just make me seem desperate, and I’m far from desperate." I answered.

Before anyone could respond Katelyn came bursting into the door. “Why did I have to hear the news from CC, who heard the news from Matt, who got to witness the event first hand?” You couldn’t wait to ask her until I go here, Asshole? You didn’t even think to ask my permission? I feel like you should have had to ask my permission. Nobody even asked me my feelings about it.”

“Katelyn, you made your feelings pretty clear when you kept asking why we weren’t official yet.” I answered.

“And why the hell does everyone keep calling me an asshole?” Andy asked exasperatedly.

“I call you Asshole, not an asshole. There’s a difference, it’s like your name.” Katelyn answered. “And it’s because you act like one. Which is fitting because Riley’s a bitch half the time and every Bitch needs an Asshole.”

“That can be taken wrong in so many ways.” CC said coming into the room with a thing of balloons like you’d see on television. “I got you these, Asshole.” He said setting them on the bedside table. “One’s even batman!” He said excitedly.

“You interrupted my tirade!” Katelyn chimed in as CC kissed her on the cheek. “What do you have to say for yourself missy… and mister?”

“I was going to tell you when you got here?” I said innocently.

She nodded, “I’ll take that.” Then her attention turned to Andy. “And what’s your excuse?”

“I got injured? I’m trying to live in the moment?” Andy answered. “God damn it woman quit hounding me! I only did what you’ve been pestering me to do.”

“And it’s about God Damn time you guys listen to me.” She answered and plopped down on the couch next to Matt.

Everything was healing perfectly so Andy got out of the hospital like he was supposed to but the doctors didn’t want him doing any traveling for at least another few weeks and they wanted him to wear a brace so that he wouldn’t mess up any of the healing. The guys all came to the consensus that Ashley, CC, Jake and Jinxx would go on touring with Warped but they would only be doing meet and greets so that they weren’t totally absent from the tour, while Andy was going to stay in a hotel suite with me, Matt and his Mom.

Andy and I were laughing at a video on my computer as Matt and Andy’s mom walked through the door with the groceries. “What are you guys watching?” Matt asked walking over to us so that he could peek at my computer screen.

“Monkeys, they’re fucking hilarious.” Andy answered.

“Aren’t you supposed to be doing homework, Riley?” Andy’s mom asked me. Geez I felt like I was back in high school. “Don’t let Andy distract you.”

“It is my homework.” I answered holding up my notebook that I had been taking notes with. “We’re learning about primatology and we have to write down the similarities and differences between humans and other primates.” I explained just so that she would know that I wasn’t just sitting there being ‘distracted by Andy’.

“Yeah and I’m actually helping her.” Andy chimed in.

“Andy doing homework? I can’t believe my ears.” She said dramatically. “Where were you when he had his own homework to do? Maybe there’s hope that he will go to college.” She said jokingly.

“Nope, not a chance in hell.” Andy answered and then bit me on my arm!

“Ow…what the hell?!” He had been biting me a lot lately. Probably a way to relieve his sexual frustration. “Will you stop biting me you damn vampire.”

“Nope.” He answered and bit me again.

“Fuck you.” I said rubbing my arm; I was definitely going to have a few bruises now.

“I wish you would.” He retorted.

“Ugghhh. You’re frustrating.” I put my hand to the side of my face so that it was blocking my view of him and tried to keep watching the movie.

“Hey we can be like the bonobos.” Andy replied to me trying to get my attention. “Your frustrated at me, I’m just frustrated so why don’t we just fu-“ I covered his mouth and paused the video before he could finish that sentence.

“Jesus Christ Andy. The video only has five more minutes left. Can you just be quiet for like that long or is it physically impossible for you?” He licked my hand. “Ewww.” I pulled my hand away from his mouth.

“Do I need to separate you two?” His mother asked laughing.

“Pfft, I’m 20 years old, not 3.” Andy answered. “I can go anywhere I please.”

“Yeah but I can get up and leave you here.” I answered. “Let’s see how well you can follow me old man.” He still needed help standing up so there was no way that he would be able to follow me without some one’s help.

“What? That’s not fair.” He answered pouting.

I smirked, “Well then behave.”

“This sucks.” Andy answered as I pushed play on the video. “I just want to be out touring. I’m going stir crazy here.”

“Who’s the one that decided to break his ribs? Oh yeah you.” I answered writing something down. “Maybe I should do my final paper on how my boyfriend’s brain capacity never evolved past a monkey’s.”

“Seriously?” Andy sounded un-amused and shut my computer on me.

“Andy! I wasn’t done!”

“There was like less than five minutes it’s not like you don’t have a ton anyways so don’t get all pissy with me.” He replied.

“You’re a frickin asshole.” I put my computer down on the bed and got up.

“I’m sorry?” Andy said grabbing a hold of my wrist. He didn’t really seem sorry; he just said it because he knew it was what I wanted to hear.

“No you’re not.” I answered. “Say it like you mean it and maybe I’ll stay, otherwise I’m going to go sit with your mom and Matt.”

“I’m sorry that I was an asshole and shut your computer. Will you please stay with me?” He said sounding sorry this time.

I thought about it for a second. I could be a bitch and just go and sit out it the living room area. I sighed and sat back down on the bed. I hated being a bitch to Andy.
