Icy Heart

"Wake uppppp! Hurry sleepy head, we're going to miss class!" Sounds like Em. I slowly open my eyes to see a red head hanging upside down above me. "We gotta gooo."
"Says the monkey hanging upside down by her legs. Did I seriously fall asleep?" Last thing I remember I was listening to All time low, but I fall asleep here nearly every time.
"Apparently, anyway it shouldn't surprise you anymore. It doesn't surprise me, seeing how you fall asleep here almost every time."
"OOOOH! YOU'RE A MINDREADER!" I practically squealed. "I was just thinking that!"
"Well obviously smart one, you called me a MINDREADER." she said mocking my 'mindreader' squeal.
"Don't get smart with me girl." The conversation falls into silence with us just looking at each other, smiles breaking on our faces. The silence soon changed into a wave of laughter. "I'll meet you at trig. I'm gonna walk around a little."
"Obeekay, but hurry up." Wow, she is just too silly. Not like I'm any different.
I jump down from the tree and walk backwards looking up at my dreaming willow. It's such an ironic name. I think the last part out loud.
"Seeing how I sleep here almost every time but I have yet to have had a dream in such a dreamland like place." With a sigh i turn on my heel and head to trig. If i continue with my pace I'm going to be late. Trigonometry seems like such a fancy word for such a simple class with a lot of theorems. Yay triangles? Ooh I'm late.

Cautiously, I walk towards the classroom door and open it just to stop midway. Right as I walk in, I was stared down by the teacher and I just turn to my shoulder bag to put away my Ipod like usual. As I look back up, I see a new guy standing next to the teacher with his head down. It seems as though class hasn't started yet because of him.
"Cool, late start to class thanks to new guy. Thanks new guy, and charge!" I run back to my seat dodging flying paper balls along the way. I plop down in my seat next to Emily. Honestly, how can anyone see me as emotionless? Oh yeah that's right, they ignore me. "Hola."
"HIYA! Did you see the new guy?" I cocked my head to the side wondering why she was talking about him right when i sit down.
"Erm, no. I only saw the top of his head thanks to him looking down. Why?"
"Well..." she wiggled her eyebrows at me causing me to giggle.
"Never mind. I don't wanna know." I pulled back out my Ipod secretly and flipped my hood up. My headphones went in and my head started bobbing. It looks like class started right as i put my headphones in. I'm glad to be at the back of this class, I can always look over the lesson at home since I understand the class pretty well. This allows me to listen to my music the whole class.

My headphones were ripped out by a worried faced Emily. "Owwie, didn't have to pull so hard. Also, move out of mer bubble." She was face to face with me. I motioned an invisible bubble around me and she started to look annoyed. She tackle hugged me and poked my stomach.
"Popped." She said with a grin.
"Would have popped it without the poking." I made an annoyed smile. "Did you gain weight?" That gained a slap on the arm. "Well, ow. I was just kidding you know. How can a stick like you be offended by what I say?" She rolled her eyes and I was surprised at how quiet she was being. "Anyway, why did you look so worried earlier?" Her face turned from victorious to shocked.
"I almost forgot! Teach said that you have to take the new guy around after school."
"Wait why?! That's sooo not fair. I have my night shift at 7/11 today."
"It's because you were late, but you have good timing I'll give you that."
"Hm?"
"Well while you were listening to your music, he told you to take him on the tour after school and you started bobbing your head to your music. He didn't take any notice of it you lucky duck. You could have gotten scolded and had your ipod taken away."
"I guess I am a little lucky about that but not the tour around school!" I groaned and headed off with Emily to my next class. Honors Chemistry. Woohoo (-_-).

The bell rings signifying my hell coming to an end. I head off to my locker and grab my things to put in my bag. Emily pounces on me at my locker. "Wah."
"Hi there, didn't forget about the tour you're supposed to give did you?"
"Awh shoot."
"Have fuuuuuuuuuuuun."
"Yeah right." I blew my loose bangs out of my face and slumped over to one hip. Time to give a guy a tour around school. Of course I forgot to ask his name, why didn't Emily just mention his name?!
