Broken Bones and Rebel Love

POV': I rolled over and looked at the clock 3:15. 'SHIT JAMIE!' I thought as I
jumped up and rushed around the room for my clothes. "Jake get up we have
to be at the school in five minutes." I yelled running out the room to
find the car keys. Jake was down fully dressed but still half asleep by the
time I found the keys. "CC." Jake said smile as I ran for the door.
"What?" I ask as I reached for the handle. "CC you need pants
and undies before you go." Jake laughed as he came up behind me and hugged
me. I slapped my face and rushed back up stairs. "Sorry." I mumbled
as I walked out the door. Jake laughed and grabbed my hand. "Babe I would
be fine with it I love seeing you like that but I don’t think the other parents
at the school would appreciate seeing you." Jake laughed as he got into
the passenger seat. Now my face was as red as a tomato. "Naww I made CC
blush." Jake whispered into my ear as I shot down the street. "Stop
it." I laughed as Jake placed his hand in my lap. "Aww but why?"
Jake winged. "Because I can't concentrate when you do that." I
laughed.I looked over at Jake and saw a
small pout set on his lips. "Naww I made Jakey pout." I teased
placing my hand on Jake's lap to cheer him up. Jake smiled and turned on the
radio, Kiss started blasting through the speakers and Jake began singing alone
to God Of Thunder.

As I pulled up I spotted something from
the corner of my eye that made my blood boil. On the ground was a young boy.
There were two older kids standing above him and had their feet on his chest. I
felt my blood boil up to my cheats as I ran out of the car and up to him.
"GET THE FUCK OFF HIM!" I screamed as I got closer. The two kids
turned around shocked and then I guess there minds started working again
because they sprinted away. "Are you ok?" I asked as I helped the boy
to his feet. He just nodded and didn't make eye contact. "Adrian are you
ok?" I heard someone ask from behind me. I turned to see Jamie's shocked
and bruised face. "Jamie what happened to you." I gasped taking him
in my arms. Soon Jake was crouched next to me talking calmly to Adrian as I
tried to get answers from Jamie.



I sighed
as Jamie started crying. "Shh Shh it's ok Jamie were here now." I
said taking him in my arms. "I tried to help him." I heard Adrian say
in a low but angry voice. "Then they started bashing me and I told Jamie
to run." Adrian looked up at Jamie and I before looking back at the
ground. "Jamie did you run?" He asked in a low voice almost a
whisper. "Yeah but that caused you to be hurt." Jamie whispered back.
Adrian seemed to be two years older than Jamie and to me he seemed like the
most mature 9 year old I had ever met. Adrian nodded to Jamie and smiled.
"I don’t care if I get hurt at least you got away." He smiled and
Jamie half smile back. It felt like me and Jake weren't even there anymore.
"Bye." Adrian said as he smile and ran away. "BYE!" Jamie
called after him. "So I'm guessing you made a friend on your first
day." I said still confused by what just happened. "Yep." Jamie
smiled and Jake gave me a very concerning look. I gave him the 'What's wrong?'
look and he just shook his head. "Talk later." Jake muttered as we
walk back to the car.
