Broken Bones and Rebel Love

Jake’s POV’: “Andy?” I asked as he sat there muttering ‘shit’ again and again. “OK WTF IS GOING ON!” CC half yell half whispered at me. “Andy can I tell him for you? Seeming though your occupied saying shit.” I say taping Andy’s shoulder. He just nods at me and continues his freak out. CC looked at me with a confused puppy face. I let out a sigh as I took CC’s hand in mine.
“You know how Andy went out with that Girl Scout?” I ask CC, who nods in response.
“Well Andy got her pregnant and they had a daughter.” CC’s face showed no emotion which freaked me out a lot. “Ok” He says after a bit. “So what’s her name?” CC asks looking at Andy. “Angel.” Andy says taping at the steering wheel. I clear my throat and CC puts his attention back on me. “Well Andy just got a call from Scout saying she put Angel in an orphanage and that she doesn’t want her anymore.” I saw a tear roll down Andy’s cheek as CC’s face was covered in a mask of horror. “Where’s the orphanage?” CC yells now angry. “Were headed for it.” Andy mumbles turning a sharp corner. “One more thing.” Andy says picking up spend again. We both look at him and he punches the steering wheel. “She’s been in there for 2 weeks so I’m afraid she won’t be there.” Andy brakes into a sob. I felt a tear of my own escape and I quickly whipped it away. “Oh.”CC whispers looking out the window as I took his hand again.
~time laps 10 minutes~
I ran after Andy with CC’s hand in mine as we burst through the doors of the orphanage.
“Angel Biersack where is she!?” Andy panted. The lady looked through a book then pointed down a long hall. “Down the hall room 26 are you here to adopt?” The lady yells as we sprint down the hall. “She’s my daughter!” Andy screams back. As Andy turns into a room I grab CC’s hand pointing to a boy sitting across the hall. He had black hair that covered his face and he wore a pair of very faded old black skinnies. He looked around 7 which shocked me how Rock he looked. CC nodded looking at the boy who was now looking at us and I had a good view of his face. Pale, roundish, high cheek bones and amazing green eyes but everything was tear stained and red. “You go with Andy I’ll talk to the boy.” CC says nodding at me. I nod and rush into the room to find Andy sitting on a bed with a very small girl. He was stroking her long brown hair and crying as she sobbed on his chest. “Angel this is Jake he’s you uncle.” Andy whispers into Angel’s era and smiles at me. Angel turns in Andy’s arms and smiles at me.

Andy’s POV’: “Hello.” Angel whispers a slight blush on her cheeks as I tighten my grip on my daughter who I will never leave again. Jake smiles at us and crouches to our height. “Your Daddy loves you a lot I hope you know.” Jake laughs as tears roll down my face. Angel nods as her sky blue eyes connect with mine. “I love you Daddy.” She smiles up at me kissing my cheek and hugging me. “I’m gonna take you home now ok sweetie.” I say standing up with my little girl in my arms. She starts laughing as we walk out. “What’s so funny?” I ask confused. “Daddy is Jamie coming with us?” Angel asks with huge puppy dog eyes almost like if I said no she would cause a flood. “Who?” I ask looking over at Jake who’s confused face doesn’t help. “Jamie.” Angel says pointing down the hall. I turn to see a small boy around Angel’s age in CC’s arms crying as CC hugs him. I look over at Jake who has tears in his eyes.

CC’s POV’: “Hay you ok.” I ask the boy as I take a seat next to him. He just shakes his head not looking up. “What’s wrong?” I ask feeling my heart sink as a fresh batch of tears rolls down his face. “I thought they would come back today because it’s my birthday but it’s the same as last year.” He sobs hitting the wall. “Who?” I ask. “My Dad and Mum.” He whispers looking up at me. “How long have you been here?” I ask putting an arm around the boy. “Three years- they left me here on my fourth birthday.” He says sobbing again. I sigh as I think how long that is and how sad he would be if he was this kid. “What’s your name?” I ask hugging the kid. “Jamie how about you?” He says into my chest. “Christian Mora or CC.” I smile as I hear him giggle. “I like CC.” He laughs looking up at me. I laugh back happy that my name was funny to a 7 year old. I hear a sound behind me and see a girl in Andy’s arms pointing at us and Jake with teary eyes. “Jake.” I say looking from him to Jamie and back at Jake. We had a silent convocation that would make me that happiest person on Earth. “Yes he is.” Jake says turning to Andy who had a shocked face. “YES!” I screamed in my mind. Jamie looked up at me confused and all I could do was smile like an idiot because I was super happy. “What?” He asks still giving me a confused look. “Jamie would you like to come and live with me and Jake?” I ask with my fingers crossed. I could see him thinking as we all waited in the hall way for his answer. “Um ok.” Jamie says smiling. Jake ran over and picked up Jamie hugging him. I joined in and soon everyone was hugging. Angel squealed as we got in the car and started singing ‘I’m going to Daddy’s’ over and over again. Jake and Andy sat in the front while Jamie sat in the middle of me and Angel. It was so cute how Jamie and Angel were basically best friends and laughing about stupid things like all kids do.
