the next day was spend training everyone for the final part of the battle tomorrow. everyone was rushing around to make new weapons, upgrade the ones they had or to learn how they should use them. me and the other band members were leading workshops on how each weapon should be used. andy was teaching people how to used daggers, ash was teaching them how to use chains, jinxx was teaching them how to fight with only their fists, cc was showing them how they could use spears and i was showing them how to use bow and arrows. every weapon that was used had been handmade by either the wild one using it or someone who was already trained to fight so diddnt need to practice.
i had made my own bow and arrow out of wood and string and the arrows out of sticks and feathers from birds that the hunting wild ones killed to eat. i showed loads of wild ones how they could make their own bows and arrows then left them for about half a hour so they would have a chance to make them. whilst i was waiting for them i decided to go and see what hannah was up to. i really liked her and i felt like i could trust her, it was different to what i had with ella but i liked it. when i found her hannah was with jinxx's group learning how to fight "need a hand there?" i asked walking up to her, she swung a playful punch towards my head and i managed to duck out of the way "yeah, you can be my sparing partner" she replied
she threw a couple of punches towards my head which i ducked under then tackled her waist pushing her over, she giggled and squeled but i still pinned her down "okay okay you win" she said laughing, i kissed her then jumped up and helped her up too.
"hows training going then?" i asked
"alright i guess, im scared though jake"
"i know you are baby, please dont be. i wont let anything hurt you. i promise" i held her waist and pulled her in close and she burried her head in my cheast. i loved it when she did that. i kissed hannah on the head then returned to my own group who had finished making their bows and arrows. using a few dummys i had made earlier for training i showed them how to aim and shoot their arrows to hit either the heart or the head every time. it took a while for them to get the hang of it but they got there in the end and were all hitting the dummy in either the neck or the sholder so when the person moves the arrow will end up either in the head or the heart. the wild ones practiced for about another hour before moving on to another workshop, i took this chance to practice my chain skills at ashleys workshop.
ash gave me a set of chains then showed me how to swing them so i hit the soldiers head every time, he also showed me how i could use the chains to hold down or trap a soldier if it was getting in the way. after another couple hours of training everyone decided to take a break for lunch, andy, ashley, cc, jinxx and i all sat in the main room of the compound to discuss the upcoming battle
"it sholdnt be that hard right?" ashley started the conversaton
"we did pretty much kill half of them already" cc added
"but now they will be stronger" andy said stroking his chin
"WERE STRONGER!" cc said staring to get angry
"calm down cc" ashley said calming cc down
"we do have more people but lets be logical, the F.E.A.R soldiers know our strengths and our weeknesses, we need to make sure we improve what we wernt good at before" i added
"lets go and adress the wild ones! we HAVE to win this, for the sake of humanity!"
