Smoke and Mirrors
The Bar
"Thanks man" I say to the bartender as he gives me my drink. I take the cool glass in my hand and swivel around in my chair to view the club.
"Crowded as usual, eh Andy?" A sweet voice says next to me. I turn my head to see a girl. Long hair, brown eyes, custom shot glass...
"You've got a lot of nerve bringing such a nice glass to a crowded club like this babe."
"Haha. I bet Andy. Tell me though." She leaned in and I could tell by her eyes that she was wasted. "If you had such a nice shotglass, and an empty apartment, wouldn't you want to use it?"
"Babe, I don't know your name. How do you know mine?" I asked avoiding the implication she wanted to take me home.
"That guy over there," She said giggling. "Come here" She said leaning into my ear. Barely containing her laugher she whipered, "He h-has a (giggle) girls name! AH HAHAHAHAHA" She started laughing and spun around in her chair. Shaking my head at her I stopped the spinning chair so she faced me.
"I don't think you should spin around when your that drunk. I like your shoes the way they are, rather than with puke on them."
"AHAHAHAHAHA YOUR SO FUNNY ANDY!!!!"
"Yeah..." I shot Ashley a death glare for sending me this drunk beauty that I now had to take care of. He responded with a grin and a wave, for he was now escorting two blondes out of the club.
"Manwhore..." I muttered
"Hehe, what was that beautiful?" The girl asked me.
"Nothing. What's your name hun?"
"Celessssssste..." She drug out the "s" like a snake.
"Well Celeste. I think it's time you were home. Do you know your address?" I asked standing up and putting my arm around her waist.
"Well duh silly! I'm not five! I'm 21! Hehe. It's my birthday."
"That explains it." I murmured. I put her back on the bar stool and removed her heels. "Can't have you walkin' around in these babe. Sorry."
I again wrapped my arm around her waist and took her to my car. I was gonna get her home safe. I didn't know her, but I didn't like the looks she was getting from the men in this bar.
