Our big family (book three of Unbroken series)

I had spent the past week planning Quinn's baby shower. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I had to send out invitations, make the food, buy the decorations, and buy a few gifts. The whole experience made me glad that I wasn't getting married, or else I would be at my wit's end.
I just finished setting the tables up outside, when Jinxx and Sammi showed up. They were the first to come and I was worried that everyone else had either forgotten or decided that they wouldn't show up.
"Hey guys," I greeted, wiping the persperation off of my brow.
"Hey Kit. You look completely wiped," Sammi commented.
"I've been working for the past three hours getting everything set up," I sighed.
"Why isn't Andy helping?" Jinxx asked.
"He's not feeling too well. I woke up last night to his coughing and sneezing. I checked on him thirty minutes ago and he looked like hell," I explained.
"And Ashley isn't helping because...?" Sammi prodded.
"I need him to keep Quinn distracted. Once everyone else gets here, I'm going to give Ashley the okay to let Quinn come outside."
Unfortunately for me, it took another hour before the members of Contagion, Flashbang, Black Veil Brides, and everyone else to show up. I even got a hold of Jeremy and told him about Quinn's baby shower. I knew that Quinn would absolutely flip out.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and texted Ashley: Everyone is here. You can bring Quinn out now.
Not even a minute later, Quinn came out of her apartment and looked at the scene before her in shock.
"Jeremy!" Quinn squeeled as she spotted her best friend, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Well, Kit told me about the baby shower, and I knew that if I didn't show that you would kick my ass, so here I am," he smiled.
"A baby shower? Kit, is this what you've been planning?" she laughed.
"Yep. I couldn't let you not have one," I grinned.
Quinn charged over to me and gave me the tightest hug that I've ever had.
"Thank you so much, Kit. You're the best sister anyone could ask for," she whispered.
"No problem. I'd love to stay out here with you and watch you open presents and stuff, but I should probably check on Andy," I said.
"I understand. Go make sure he's okay. I don't want him to die in my apartment. That would be gross," Quinn said, sticking out her tongue.
I laughed at her sillyness and headed inside.
Right when I opened the apartment door, I heard Andy's coughs. I frowned and walked into the guest bedroom that we were staying in.
"Andy, are you okay?" I asked as I observed him laying helplessly in the bed. His eyes were blood-shot, his face was flushed, and his body was shivvering.
"N-not really," he mumbled.
I sighed and laid down next to him, snuggling into his chest.
"Kit, I could get you sick," Andy told me.
"I don't care. You're freezing and these blankets are obviously not doing the trick. Is there anything you need me to get you?" I asked.
"I don't need you to-"
"Andy, please, you look like hell and you can barely move. Letting me take care of you isn't going to cause the end of the world," I chided.
"Fine. A glass of water would be nice," he grumbled.
I rolled out of bed and headed into the kitchen. I filled a glass with water from the fridge and went back to the bedroom to see an almost completely knocked-out Andy.
"Andy, I have your water," I whispered as I kissed his forehead.
Andy slowly sat up in bed and took the glass from me. He gulped it down in less than ten seconds, then collapsed against the headboard.
"You should be outside with Quinn, having fun," he mumbled.
"Maybe, but I would rather be in here, making sure you're okay. You would do the same thing for me."
"True....Kit, I have a question to ask you."
"Okay. What is it?"
"I was thinking that we've been together for a while, and Elliot and Calvin are living together and so are Ashley and Quinn. I've even been staying with you for the past month. So, I was wondering if maybe we could move in together. I'd understand if you don't want to, but I think this is the next step for us. Besides, I don't like the idea of you been there while I may be away on tour when that asshole could possibly get to you. So, what do you think?"
I was quiet for a moment. My head was listing all the pros and cons of the decision and I was torn.
"I...I'd love to move in with you, just as long as the rest of Flashbang is okay with it. I don't want to make this decision without their input."
"Okay. I love you, Kit," Andy said, wrapping an arm around me.
"I love you too, even if you do look like a corpse," I smirked.
