I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream

Jasey slept for another hour before she woke up again. Her bony fingers rubbed at her eyes, as I still held her close.
"Your sister wants to come in, and visit you." I said quietly, as she layed her back onto my chest.
"How do you know?" She asked yawning cutely.
"She came in here about ten minutes ago, but I told her you were sleeping."
"I don't want to get up." She groaned, digging her face into my chest.
"Jasey, you need to talk to her. I think she's outside in the hallway." I said getting up, but she pulled my hand back. It took everything for me to not climb back in the bed with her, but I knew this had to be done. "Babe, I'm just going to get her, I'll get back into bed with you when I come back." She folded her arms across her chest, and nodded. I walked out of the room to see Danielle leaning against the piece of wall next to the door of Jasey's room. "She's awake." I said, and Danielle immediately followed me, as I turned on my heel to go back into the tiny, antiseptic smelling, hospital room. Jasey opened her arms out at my return, inviting me into her bed. I climbed in, and pulled her onto my lap. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and rested my head on her shoulder.
"I was hoping we could talk, uhm, alone.." Danielle said standing in front of Jasey's bed.
"You can say everything you were going to say to me in front of Andy." Jasey said sternly.
"Okay." Danielle said, she seemed to accept quickly, like she knew their was no changing Jasey's mind. "Well let me start off by saying that first of all, no I did not mean to hit you, Jay."
"I didn't think you did." Jasey said, her cold stare never leaving her face.
"I know, but I wanted to make sure." Danielle said quietly, "I was backing out, and you know I just got my license, and I wasn't used to driving the car, and it just spun out of control! I'm so sorry, Jay! I never meant to hurt you!" She gasped, and a tear slipped down Jasey's cheek. I wiped it away for her, and she smiled at me before climbing off of my lap over to her sister. Jasey pulled Danielle into a tight hug.
"Danielle I know you would never hurt me, but why are you dating Peter? He's going to hurt you!" Jasey said her voice raising.
"Because I love him Jasey! I love him more than anyone will ever understand! He was drunk when he almost raped you I promise he's changed!" Danielle yelled.
"I'm never going to forgive him." Jasey said plainly.
"I don't care what you think! I apologized for hitting you, and that's that. Now were back to where we started, because I love Peter! He's my one and only, and if my own sister can't accept that, than we'll never see eye to eye." Danielle said flatly.
"He sexually assaulted me! Not saying he ever would, but if Andy did that to you, wouldn't you be angry if I was still dating him after it happened?" Jasey yelled. Danielle got off of the bed, and stormed to the door angrily.
"I said he was drunk!" She yelled back, and ran out of the room. Jasey was speechless. All she did was crawl back into my arms, and I held her whispering reassuring words into her ear.
"I don't feel like I have a sister anymore." Jasey gasped into my chest. I stroked her hair, and kissed her forehead. I didn't know what to say. I don't think she has a sister anymore. I think she has an enemy.
