~Jade’s Pov~

I wake up to the sudden sound of my alarm clock on my phone go off, I hit off and get up to get ready for the hell that awaits. I go to my bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face, and straighten my hair and tease it since it crinkles up at night, I go to my closet to see what i’ll wear. I choose my riot sweater, ripped black skinny jeans, black converse, and put some makeup on. I grab my bag, phone, headphones and walk downstairs and get pushed to make way for my ass of a brother, and he runs downstairs and in the kitchen. I walk downstairs and go past the kitchen and hear my mom say “Come eat breakfast before you leave, sweety!”
“No, i’m good. I’ll eat at apple at school!” I say back walking out the door.
I start to walk to school on the sidewalk, I wasn’t waiting to ride with Brian. I stick my headphones in and play Punk Goes Pop, Fuck You covered by Sleeping With Sirens, I see a car fly by me, Andy’s. That asshole didn’t offer me a ride!
I get to the school parking lot and start to walk to the front to get my schedule, then this girl with red hair and a boy with black hair just pop up beside me.
“Hi, my names Ilah and this is Josh! We’re gonna be your new friends now!” she says all happy and shit.
“Excuse me?” I say confused as hell.
“Your new, and unless you want to hang with Kayla-” she says pointing to a blonde bimbo and a group of girls like her but with red and bleach blonde hair. “Your stuck with us!” she finishes.
“Okay, I don’t mind.” I say, hell why not? I start walking and Ilah leads me to the office, I walk up to an old hag that should be the secretary, “Hi, im new here. I’m here for my schedule, my name’s Jade Gourden.” I tell the woman and then she starts crazy typing. “Ah, Jade here you go!” she says handing me a yellow piece of paper and I walk to Ilah and Josh reading it.
“Oh goodie! You have first period with me and fifth period with me and Josh.” she says. it was:
1. English
2. Language Other than English
3. History and Social Studies
4. Laboratory Science
5. Gym
6. Visual and Performing Arts

I start to walk down the hall, staring at my paper not paying attention to where I was walking, then I bump into something tall and hard. Andy! “Hey Andy! Sorry bout that!” I say smiling at him and he just turns and walks away from me, what’s his problem? Was I a bad kisser? Di I force him? Did he hate me?
“Do you know Andy?” I hear Ilah ask.

“Yeah, we live by each other.”

“You look a lot like ‘her’ to us.” she says, to who?

“Look a lot like who?”

“Bree. She was a girl who went to our school last year before she…..” she trailed off.

“Before she what?”

“She committed suicide from bullying, her and Andy were crazy in love. But Bree wanted to wait till she was better and not always crying, she was my best friend. Andy hasn’t loved anyone since, or even looked at a girl the same.”

That’s who that girl was in that picture, and why he was so upset with kissing me. He still loved her. I start walking with Ilah to my locker and I open it putting some notebooks in it, then we start to walk back outside to sit on a bench. He’s never loved since, ever since Bree.

~Andy’s Pov~

I sit outside at a bench and table and see Ashley, CC, Jinxx, and Jake walk over and sit with me. Ashley sits on the table while CC sits next to me and Jake and Jinxx sits across from me, “What’s wrong lone wolf?” Ashley says laughing.

“Not fucking funny.”

“Cheer up, god! Andy be happier and live life to the happiest!” Ashley yells annoyed.

“I just wanna get home to sleep.”

“You didn’t sleep last night?” Jake asks.

“Yeah, somebody. That’s all.”

I see Jade, Ilaha and Jake walk out to benches, they look just how it was last year. I feel like I felt around Bree, around Jade. I can’t, I have to focus on my music and make it to L.A., and Jade would be better for me not to be in her life. Ashley is looking at Jade too, but with his ‘i'm gonna fuck her tonight’ look. I slightly glare at Ashley but not for him to notice it too much, he stands up and starts to walk over to Jade. As he does, my legs automatically get up to and follow behind.

~Jade’s Pov~

I play with my fingers and answer all the questions they’re throwing at me. “Favorite color?” Josh asks me, “Black, white, and purple.” I answer still staring at my hands till I hear someone come behind me. We all turn our heads and see some boy and Andy, the boys eyes widen a little. “Hey, sweet pie, how are you?!” did he just call me?
“First, It’s Jade and two, doing just fine without you.”

“Oh, feisty! I like’ em like that!”

“Oh, creepy! I don’t like’ em like that!” I say and sweetly smile at him.

“Don’t be like that!” He says sitting next to me.

“Ashley! Leave her alone, she’s not interested. Are you?” Andy lashes and asks.

“No.” I simply say, Andy seemed jealous in his tone.

“Fine, i’ll see you in second, fifth, and sixth period sweet cheeks.” That Ashley guy said and walked away with Andy to sit at a bench with some other guys.

“Your special, alright!” Ilah says.

“What do you mean? How?” I ask so confuzzled.

“Andy wouldn’t talk or even stand up for a girl he never knew a whole lot, he has a softy for you!” Ilah says smiling like an idiot.

“That’s shocking to hear.” He has a softy for me, good. Because I have a softy for him too!
