(Paige[11], Alexandria[11], and Andy[12] are in 6th grade, Liam[13] in 7th grade)

I was walking to my next class when Paige walked up and slapped my books out of my hands. I bent down to pick them up when she kneed me in the stomach. I didn't even bother, I just sat there while she attacked me with her clan of wolves. This happened daily, I didn't want to make it worse by fighting back or responding. I thought they had left so I stood back up, I grabbed my books and looked up to have her slap me. I fell into the lockers "Faggot! Just die" she screeched. "Your mum probably killed herself so she wouldn't have to deal with you, you emo scum!" she cackled. I kneed her, she scrunched over and I pushed her to the floor, I kicked her a few times and leaned in. "No-one, no-one do you hear me, talks about my mother like that" I whispered. "Why, cause you can't face the truth she yelled. "I said No-one!" I yelled while pulling her up and smashing her head in the locker a few times. I dropped her and kicked her in the head. I turn around and see that Andy had been watching. His mouth agape as he looked at me in shock. I stare back for a minute and bolt out of there. I ran, I didn't even look back at him, I just kept running. I pushed open the front door's of the school, I don't give a fuck if the school staff see me. I ran until I reached the park I collapsed on the ground, I crawled over to the swings and laid my stomach down on the seat and swung slightly. I pulled out my IPod and put on Alice In Chains.

After a few songs I heard quiet footsteps making their way around the park. I looked up ready to move if it was a child molester. I saw the out line of my brother and Andy. I huffed out a breath of air. They made their way over and sat down next to me. Liam drew small circles on my back to calm me down. probably thinking I was angered. He slowly started humming Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, Andy ended up joining in, and we all started to sing and getting weird looks by people as they passed.


Me, Liam, and Andy decided just to go back to me and Liam's place. We made small chat about music on the way, not really paying attention to each other. When we reached our house we called out our hello's. My dad entered with a somber look, "dad, whats wrong?" I asked a little scared of the answer. "Um, kid's, I got a job in Dorena, Oregon. We're moving in two weeks" he said with a hint of sadness. "What! What do you mean 'We're moving'? We cant move! This is were mum is! This is were my only friend is! This is where the only place I've known is!" I shrieked. "Hey, it's going to be ok" Andy said trying to reassure me. "How is it going to be 'ok'! I will never see you again! How are you ok with this?" I yelled at him while tears make their way down my face. I didn't even wait for his reply, I went upstairs to my room and face planted on my bed. I let my already messed up eyeliner ruin my pillow. I screamed with all I had, I let everything bottled up since mum pass spill out with my screams and cries.

I have one more week before we leave, I'm staying at Andy's while they paint my dark purple bedroom wall's white. I'm also staying at his because they're taking my bed. But hey, I get to see Andy more.


"Ok, so we're gonna watch all the Batman movie's, and my mum's ordering pizza, also I have some Monster's in my room. Meet me in my room after you put your stuff away" He said smiling. "Ok" I replied. I went to the guest room and put my stuff down by the bed. I walked to his room and pushed open the door to see his Batman and band posters covering the walls. I walked over to his pillow fortress and got in beside him. I got under the blanket, while he hit play on Batman returns. We got half way thorough when we got called for pizza. We ran down stairs chugging monsters and stuffing are faces with pizza.

The week went on like that when we got home from Hell a.k.a. school. It was Friday and it had a very erie feeling.


I was putting the last few of my things in my locker when Paige came other, she for once wasn't with her group of bitches. "Hey Alexandria, I'm sorry for what I've done to you" She stated. "Wait, you don't want to punch my face in?" I asked totally confused. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that, the glory of popularity got to me, and I want to say I'll miss you when you leave. Here's my number" She said while handing me a piece of paper. I just stood there shocked, this has to be a dream, or she's joking with me. "Also I'll make everyone else stop attacking you for the rest of today" She said while walking off. I'm pretty sure I just stood there for a few hours with my mouth hanging open. That was until Andy came and shook me out of it. "Wh-what?" I asked. "Come on, we're late for second period(or lesson, or class...idk). "Ok" I said while going to math, eww.


Paige actually stood up to her word. No-one bothered me and she was nice to me all day. But I have been paying more attention just to see if I'm going to be ambushed, and I haven't. Me, Liam, and dad have packed everything in the car, we're about ready just saying a few good bye's. I said bye to Andy's family and him. I got in the car as they waved by to us. I put my head phone's in and started playing Sixx Am.I already put Paige's number in my phone. I rolled down my window to say a last good by while Liam and dad got in. "Don't forget to text me, and tell me everything that happens in Oregon" He said. "Ok, I've got it, this is the third time you've said that!" I said chuckling. "Bye, I'll miss you!" He said. "I'll miss you to! Ok we have to go bye!" I said as my dad got buckled in. I was about to roll my window up when Andy pulled my head and kissed me. "I love you" he said. And that was the last thing I thought I would ever hear from him. I felt a pain to my chest as we left. We'll sure I'm only 11 and him 12, but I've still liked him since I met him. "I love you to" I whispered as we left the street and started our journey to our new home.
